This luxury apartment is situated in La Mairena, within minutes of the El Soto tennis and golf club. It is situated in the hills of Marbella overlooking the fabulous protected Biosphere of cork trees. The views of the coast are spectacular and make for a memorable setting whilst eating on the terrace. It really is equipped with everything you need for yourself and your family – 32” LCD TV, Home cinema, DVD and CD player. There is air-conditioning throughout and a rear garden with charcoal BBQ.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated. There is also an alarm system with video entrance. It is a perfect get away for those who want a quiet tranquil setting but still want the convenience of being close to Puerto Banus, Marbella and surrounding areas. Gibraltar is an hour away and its possible to catch the ferry to Tangiers. On a clear day the coast of Africa can be seen from the terrace. There are plenty of shops in Elviria a short drive away. There is a club house and two other excellent restaurants a short walk away. The apartment is child friendly with DVDs and swimming pool, there is a water park at Mijas and the famous Fuengirola Zoo a short drive away. Marbella Old Town is 15 minutes drive and is well worth going to. It is also a golfers paradise with some of the best golf courses on the coast in close proximity. It's is a beautiful area for walking and cycling and famous 'white' villages such as Ronda and Mijas are within easy driving distance.

Accessibility
The apartment has around 10 steps to get down to the entrance - however access elsewhere and outside is good. There are a lot more steps to get down to the swimming pool, but it's fun and the landscape is magnificent.

Outside
Private parking. This is a beautifully maintained small private complex with landscaped gardens. There are two pools - including a paddling pool for children. There is a charcoal BBQ for your use along with a 4 seater dining area on the terrace - which is surrounded by cork trees and is not overlooked. Tennis rackets are provided for use at the nearby tennis club which also boasts a lovely clubhouse with jacuzzi, gym, pitch and put and kids play area. The clubhouse caters for everything from breakfast to Sunday lunch. There are several world renown hotels nearby such as Don Carlos, Los Monteros and the famous Marbella Beach Club. This area experiences very few days of rain and some of the best all year round temperatures.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Elviria where Nikki Beach Marbella is situated 6km away or a 7 minute drive. The Don Carlos also have great facilities on the beach with an enormous pool on the beach. There are fantastic beaches at Cabopino with full facilities. The area has seen the emergence of several beach clubs such as Nikki Beach, The Ocean Club, La Cabanne and Bono Beach and they are all within a 10-15 minute drive.

Golf
El Soto - 9 hole a short walk away. La Cala Golf Resort is a 5 minute drive - this boasts three 28 hole courses in fantastic surroundings. Santa Maria golf is also a few minutes drive away. As the area experiences the best all year round temperatures in Spain this makes for a real Winter holiday destination.

Travel
Malaga Airport is 50km away and takes around 40 minutes to drive. Gibraltar also has an airport around 1 hour away. Nearest rail link is Fuengirola at 20km. Car hire is recommended and there are numerous rental agencies at Malaga Airport.

Ronda - 1 hour 20 mins.
Benalmadena - 25 mins.
Mijas Pueblo - 20 mins.
Marbella - 15 mins.
Fuengirola - 15 mins.
Gibraltar - 1 hour.

Further details
There are banks with ATMs, pharmacies and supermarkets at nearby Elviria. There are also some good bars and restaurants. There is also a tour company situated in Elviria that specialise in guided tours of several sights should you wish not to drive. Funny Beach go carting is around 20 minutes away and for shopalcoholics there is Las Canada around 15 minutes away. Puerto Banus has just about every designer store you can think of and is great for people watching!

Booking notes
20% of the rental fee as deposit is needed to secure the booking. The balance is then due 6 weeks before arrival. A returnable security deposit of £200 is also held, this is a good house keeping bond and is returned at the end of your stay. Payment of this security deposit is with the final balance.
