Our apartment is part of the Oliva Nova Golf and Beach resort which backs onto a superb stretch of unspoilt coast with an uncrowded sandy blue flag beach that runs for miles in both directions. The superb 18 hole links golf course has been designed by Seve Ballesteros and the apartment is moments from the first tee and club house. Notes on accommodation
Our apartment has been interior designed to create a contemporary, stylish and comfortable holiday home. It has been finished and furnished to the highest standard that sets it apart from much of rental properties found on the Spanish coast.
We wanted to create an apartment that was a place to spend time in during your holiday rather than just a place to sleep and store your luggage in. Therefore we have thought about everything that you would require for a relaxing holiday and executed these requirements with care and we hope a dash of flair.

Outside
We have a large sunny balcony that is great for outdoor dining or relaxing with a long cold drink. There is a smart bistro table and chairs and a couple of sunloungers.
We are on the first floor (lift provided) so it is a short stroll down to the large secluded pool with central island and paddling area for little ones. The pool is surrounded by lawns, palm and olive trees and is exclusive to residents. There is also a dedicated car parking space.
All the roads and avenues in the vicinity are planted with mature trees and lawns giving the resort an exclusive look and feel.
Coast/Beach
The huge sandy beach is less than a minutes level walk, as the beach backs onto the resort there are no busy roads like much of the Spanish coast. Sand dunes back onto the beach which make this a quiet & picturesque setting. It is uncrowded so you can relax in the sun without somebody being on top of you, on the other hand if you want the kids to run and play its easy to keep an eye on them. So close to the apartment it is simple to pop back for lunch or a siesta. Pretty beach bar in the summer.
Golf
The first tee is moments from our apartment. Oliva Nova is a links style Par 72/5832m course next to the Med designed by Seve Ballesteros. English speaking Golf Academy, 25 mat driving range & 5 hole par 3 training area for pitching, chipping and putting. The Moorish style clubhouse is a great meeting place for relaxing & socialising. Pro shop.15 mins drive La Sella, Par 72/6072m designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. Championship course with Montgo mountains as backdrop winding through Orange & Almond groves, this is a challenging course for all abilities. 3/4 hour drive El Saler, Par 72 6355m, ranked 2nd in Spain & 6th in Europe. Skiing
If you are really keen the ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada are a half days drive away.
Travel
Oliva Nova is an easy max 60 minute drive from either Alicante or the city of Valencia. All the low cost airlines and major carriers fly to these airports. We can provide you access to car hire companies that can offer you better rates and deals than you can find from the UK (up to 20% discount). One way car rental airport to resort available. Taxis can be hired from the airport to the resort.
Upon booking we will provide you with easy to follow directions to the apartment.
Distances
Only 7 km to vibrant Denia with fishermans quarter, cobbled streets and 12th cent castle. Loads of great restaurants and bars on the waterfront as well as all the shopping you'll need. Valencia, one of Spains largest cities, home to the European Grand Prix, is an easy hour drive and full of culture and lively nightlife including the fantastic new L'Oceanografic, Europes's largest marine park. For kids of all ages, Terra Mitica, Southern Europe's biggest theme park is 35 mins drive and huge fun.

About the owner
We bought the apartment as our holiday home in 2004 and when we are not using it for ourselves we rent it to friends, family and other guests who want to experience this lovely part of Spain. We are not a holiday company, we are private owners.
We live in Kent and work in London. John is a designer and works for several large commercial organisations as well designing interiors for homes. Pauline is Head of Finance for a company in the legal sector in the City of London.
