About the owner
We are a Dutch couple in their fifties.
We found our dream house in Gaucin, but we are still working, so we have decided to buy the property and to rent it out to you for vacation purposes.
We visit the property every month and we are meticulous in cleaning and maintenance.
We have a young and ambitious native local caretaker who speaks English, which is a great help for us and for you as a guest.
We take pride in arranging things in order to accomodate you as our guest in the best possible manner.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought Finca Serena because it is the most beautiful location we know in the whole of Andalucia. We spent 7 years looking for it. In 2001 we bought a townhouse in Andalucia and from there we went looking for the ideal house, without haste. We covered the whole of Andalucia, not only to look for our dream house, but also because we love to visit all of the beautiful places such as Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada etc..
Unique benefits of the property
We benefit from the authenticity of Gaucin, the unspoilt character and nature, the absolute peace and quiet, but also from the views of the coast, the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa.
However, the coast is at 30 minutes and offers us a complete array of (tourist) possibilities.
The house itself is full of 'El Andaluz' character, but recently built to a modern standard as to quality and comfort (heating, aircon, internet, audio and video, kitchen etc.). It is 100% private and secluded, on it's own fenced grounds of 30,000 square meters with it's own drive, taking us from the gate right up to the front door in 1 minute.
