Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning to lounge, dining area and all bedrooms. We now have wifi internet access available for 10 euro per week.
Outside
Outside courtyard, 8 x 4m private pool and extensive terrace area around the pool. The property has a double garage and extensive covered parking area.
Coast/Beach
Numerous beaches within 20 minute drive, including family beaches, water sports and designated nudist areas.
Golf
Cortijo Grande, Turre - currently 9 holes, soon to be 18. Great views, unique location – 15 minute drive.
Marina Golf - 18 hole, including putting and driving range - 20 minutes.
Valle Del Este - 18 holes including driving range - 10 minutes.
Desert Springs, Cuevas - known as the only true desert course in Europe. Great location, very different and challenging - 30 minutes.
Travel
Almeria airport 40 minutes drive. Murcia 1 hour 15 minutes drive. Alicante 2 hours drive. Granada 2 hours drive. Use of a car is essential.
Distances
Los Gallardos and Bedar are both 5 minutes drive and offer typically Spanish shops, bars, restaurants, banks, a chemist and more. The towns of Vera and Turre are just 15 mins away and offer large supermarkets and a greater selection of restaurants and bars. Garrucha is famed for its fishing port where the daily catch can be tasted at a variety of sea-front restaurants. Mojacar offers all you would expect from a busy coastal resort.

About the owner
In our early 30's, we moved out here to set up a property development business 6 years ago and enjoy the best of both work and leisure. The challenge of running my own business was something I had been aiming for in the UK for a number of years. We have really settled in the area and have two children who were both born here. Mia is almost 4 and has started spanish school and Lucas is approaching 2. For me the quality of life we have is second to none. Keeley and I look after our properties personally and are on hand to offer any local advice on places to go and see, deal with any issues which may arise to ensure our customers enjoy their stay.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The property was bought because of its privileged location on the edge of the village. The accommodation is spacious and very private. We have undertaken a number of improvements to the property including an extensive terrace area around the pool which will make the most of the spectacular views and provide the property with even more outdoor space and a barbecue area close to the pool. Upstairs will have a brand new en-suite bathroom and the property has been completely repainted outside.
