Santa Clara show house available to rent in the upmarket area of Los Monteros. 3km from Marbella Town. Views of the mountains - La Concha, Mediterranean Sea and Santa Clara Golf Course. Villa is the height of luxury, cream marble floors throughout, air-conditioning on each floor, fully fitted Kitchen with granite worktops & all Bosch appliances. Large lounge and separate dining room. Large terrace leads from the lounge with outdoor settee, 2 large comfy arm chairs and alfresco dining for 6/7 people. There is also a BBQ and Sun loungers. This house is excellent for the family who play golf or just want to relax around a pool or on the beach. Marbella town is full of designer stores and fabulous restaurants. A further 10 minutes will bring you to the millionaire’s marina Puerto Banus. On clear days you can see the Rock of Gibraltar, which is approx 35 minutes drive away, from Gibraltar or Tarifa a ferry can be caught to Morocco - Great shopping, well worth a day trip!

Notes on accommodation
The Villa is fantastic for children, the large garden is totally contained and safe. This villa is ideally situated for golfing holidays with Marbella Golf behind us - it can be seen from the villa. Rio Real Golf (the oldest golf course in Andalucia) is only a few minutes away and there are many more courses very close - this is Costa Del Golf!
Outside
Large established private garden with trees, and flowering shrubs. Outdoor furniture on the terrace - Outdoor sofa, 2 comfy armchairs, Large round table and seating for 6/7 people. The terrace is a fantastic area for alfresco eating as it receives the sun all day, being SW facing - we have had some fantastic BBQs - it is a very sociable area for yourselves and guests. Large communal swimming pool close to the house with tiled area around the pool, and separate bathrooms all tiled in cream marble.
Coast/Beach
2 minutes drive to Blue Flag Beaches or 10 mins walk. This area of East Marbella has the best beaches in the area. It is also an excellent area if you like walking. Marbella is walking distance along the beach, and the reserve around La Concha mountain has some fantastic walks and views. In fact the view from the top of La Concha is spectacular if you can manage the walk! We saw as far as Gibraltar and Morocco to the West and Malaga to the East. Well worth the climb!!
Golf
200 yards from Santa Clara Golf Course Club House and the first hole. Club House has an excellent restaurant, bar and golf shop with a large terrace overlooking the course. Marbella Golf is behind the villa and can be viewed from Bedroom 3, and the Car Port. Rio Real Golf is a few minutes away (the oldest course in Andalucia). Greenlife Golf and Santa Maria Golf are 10 minutes away - in fact we are surrounded by golf courses - this is Costa Del Golf!
Travel
Malaga Airport is approx. 30 minutes away. Gibraltar Airport is approx. 45 minutes away. Car Hire is recommended, there are some fantastic markets in the area, mountain towns and fantastic Alhambra Palace, Granada is approx. 90/120 minutes away.
Distances
Marbella Town - 3km. Puerto Banus - 10 minutes driving. Elviria - Don Carlos Hotel, Nikki Beach - 8 minutes driving. Malaga - 30 minutes. Mijas white village - 20 minutes. Funny Beach - great for Jet Ski Hire, Go Cart Hire etc 5 minutes driving.
Further details
The famous Los Monteros Hotel is a minute away, with the fantastic La Cabana Beach Club. Supermarkets, banks, restaurants are a few minutes drive. Los Monteros Hotel also has tennis courts available for hire, a well equipped gym, spa, bar and restaurants. El Casco Tennis Club is 2 minutes away with many tennis courts, coaches, children's lessons and paddle tennis.
Booking notes
Change over day during peak season is Saturday, this is negotiable at other times of year. We require a security deposit, and a booking deposit. Balance 8 weeks prior to rental.
Guest comments
We were pleasantly suprised when we arrived at the Villa. It was exactly as the description and the photographs stated. We were very worried that the pictures may be dated and the villa looking tired - (as has happened to us so often in the past.) But nothing could be further from the truth. Expensive furniture, china pots, lovely garden and the bathrooms were great - power showers my husband was thrilled. You could tell the villa had been furnished for the owners and not as a rental property. I didnt want to leave, we will definitely be staying again. We love golf and the beach so the situation of the villa was perfect for us, we could see the golf course and had many happy hours at Santa Clara Golf. I would recommend the Club House for breakfast, beautiful terrace, great views and good service. The beach was only a few minutes drive and very clean white sand, we could have been in the Carribean. About the owner
We bought the showhouse at Santa Clara Golf, Los Monteros as we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. I loved the way the interior designer had decorated and furnished it, loved the pictures, ornaments everything about it. I had to have it, as it was - my poor husband! So we bought the villa and everything else within it.
It is a fantastic house, the quality of the marble, the build quality, we have been knocked out with it all. We initially bought the house just for our own use, but now offer it for holiday rentals.
We started in April 2009 and have been very lucky, we have met some fantastic families and couples. All have thought the house wonderful, and quite a few have already booked for a 2nd time, and 1 lovely couple have booked again for the 3rd time!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with the Los Monteros area, Marbella, Puerto Banus and the La Concha mountain.
The beaches in this area are all blue flag, white sand, no rocks and lovely shallow seas for the children. Lovely in the summer months to sunbath and play on the beach. The winter months it is lovely to go walking along the seas edge.
La Concha mountain reserve is very close to the villa, approx. 20 minutes drive and the children and ourselves love to climb to the top - bit of a killer, but the views are phenomenal. Well worth a trip!
We loved Marbella, especially the old town with its cobbled streets and the promenade along the sea front. Marbella is 3kms away.
Puerto Banus is great for a night out, looking at the boats and the beautiful people. Good restaurants too.
Unique benefits of the property
The villa is a few hundred yards walk from the Santa Clara Golf Club House and driving range. We found the driving range great for the kids and ourselves to practice. The clubhouse has a wonderful terrace with views of the course.
Marbella Golf Course is at the rear of the house, and can be viewed from the entrance and windows.
Marbella is 3kms away, which is either a walk along the beach or a few minutes drive.
