This fabulous, spacious property has all the requirements for a truly relaxing holiday,an ideal holiday venue for friends and family alike. Set in gated/private grounds, extensive outside space and fabulous views across the valley set the theme.The house is based around a central atrium with curved stairs leading up to a galleried landing to four large double bedrooms all with ensuites and balconies. The large,open plan area downstairs is furnished to a high quality, with simple clean cut designs. There is a lounge area with Sat TV/DVD/music, a large seperate seating area with coffee table,fire place, brimming book cases and relaxing leather sofas. Off the central area is a seperate dining room. The bright and airy kitchen has French doors leading to the pool, patio and outside dining areas. Outside life is centred around a glistening pool, slide, gorgeous views, shaded patios and comfy wooden, ratten furniture. Relax, swim, sunbathe, BBQ, read or anyone for a game of table tennis!

Changeover day
During peak season, bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise arranged .We are relatively open on arrival and departure days, out of season. We ask that arrivals are after 5pm and departures are before 10am again, unless otherwise arranged.

Notes on accommodation
The property is located in secured grounds with gate. The property is based on two flat levels with no steps other that the staircase. Air-conditioning in all bedrooms and central heating. Also under floor heating in the main living areas for winter and ceiling fans. There is access out to the pool/ patio areas from the kitchen, main doors and also central atrium with wood burner. There is a large 10m balcony that runs across the front of the house overlooking the pool. This can also be accessed from bedrooms 2 and 3. All windows and doors have electric or manual shutters for security and to keep out the hot midday sun! The property is ideal for children/families or groups due to its minimalistic, yet extensive living areas. It is exceptionally cool in the summer months due to open plan design.
Accessibility
Access to the property is from an excellent tarmac road, through gates and up a concrete driveway. Parking is directly outside the property. The ground floor is all on one flat level. The first floor is accessed by a curved, lit stairway with all the bedrooms located on one level. Access to the balconies etc is also on the same level, ie no steps. All bedrooms, balcony doors, bathrooms have locking doors. Please ask if you have any further questions on accessibility.
Outside
This lovely private property is surrounded on all sides by its own land planted with olive and almond trees. There are numerous patios with ample garden furniture, ratten lounge suites, sunbeds, dining tables and chairs and wooden deckchairs. On the main pool patio there is a huge sunbathing terrace and also a large undercover area for shade with seating and dining facilities. There is also a large, cool covered patio area at the rear of the house with a table tennis table. The extensive pool (12x6m) with slide, is accessed directly from indoors through double doors from the kitchen or central atrium. Although the pool area is surrounded by fencing to ensure privacy, it cannot be separated off from the house, gardens or patios. The views from the property are spectacular. Many of the local ‘pueblos blancos’ can be seen dotted along the valley including a fabulous view of the beautiful hilltop village of Comares in the distance. There are also distant sea views. Outside shower/wc unit.
Coast/Beach
The West and East of Malaga can be reached easily from this property within approx 30 mins. There are numerous beaches, Fuengirola, Nerja, Torre Del Mar, Torrox, Torremolinos and Benamadenaall within 45 mins drive.
Golf
There are innumerable golf courses along this coastline, all of exceptional standard and attract all standards of players. the nearest is approx 30 mins, Parador, Bavaira or Antequera Golf. Please ask for further details.
Skiing
The popular ski resort of Sierra Nevada, near Granada is less than a 2 hour drive. A comprehensive selection of pistes, ski school, equipment hire, snow boarding and a good selection of shops and restaurants.

There are a few local facilities available for painting, cookery, birdwatching etc please ask.
Travel
Malaga airport is approx 30 mins drive and Granada airport is approx 1 hour. Malaga has a main bus and train station located in the centre and easily signposted. Car hire is recommended as the local village is approx 4km. Directions to the property for arrival are provided and there is a comprehensive guide to the area located in the property.
Distances
Local village, Colmenar 6-7mins drive. Comares Rio Gordo 15 mins. Taxis can be hired at a small cost for evenings out if required and also mini buses for day trips for groups. Lake Vinuela 25 mins. Weekly rentals are based on a maximum of 8 people (+ cot). A 30 % non returnable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full total price of your holiday to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Receipts given for all payments. A damage deposit of £/euro 250 (no cheques) required on arrival, fully refundable on departure providing no breakages. Internet, prebook, 15 euros pw. payable locally .
