Coast/Beach
Sa Tuna and Sa Riera beach are the nearest beaches to El Roco, they are one of the Baix Emporda's finest beaches. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the villa or 3 minutes by car. There are several beachside restaurants and sandwich bar.
Shops selling all you need for a great day on the beach. There are many other bays and beaches within a 15-20 min drive, including the stunning Calella de Palafrugell.
Golf
Villa El Roco is within a 10 minute drive of excellent 18-hole (Golf Emporda, Golf Playa de Pals, Golf Serres de Pals) Golf courses, so perfect for winter and summer. There is a pitch and putt and driving range at Gualta, just a 10 minutes drive.
Skiing
Spanish Pyrenees are about a 1.5 hours drive from Begur.
