A private, well equipped, detached villa in one of the most sought after locations on the Costa Brava. It sleeps 6 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms all with air conditioning units. The villa has wonderful sea views and views over the surrounding hillside. It is approximately 10 minutes walk to the unspoilt, picturesque sandy bay of Sa Riera via hillside steps and just a couple of minutes by car. It is uphill on the way back so perhaps 15-20 minutes walk is more realistic and the less mobile would need to drive. Just 5 minutes drive to Begur, an exquisite, unspoilt medieval town with many restaurants. It is an easy drive to Pals, Palafrugell, Tamariu and Llafranc. Fly to Gerona, Perpignan or Barcelona with no frill airlines. Nearby attractions for adults and children include, water parks, diving, snorkeling, boat hire, tennis, golf, cycling, horse riding, walking, skiing, museums and restaurants.

Prices based up to 6 person occupancy. A seventh person can be comfortably accommodated at a supplement of £25 per week. Cot/high chair available to rent.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is suitable for one or two (small) families. The third bedroom and bathroom are self contained with their own entrance from outside, ideal for that little bit of privacy but please note there is no access from inside the house. The proximity of the villa to the beach makes it very desirable in the busy summer months. Ideal for older children who wish to make their own way to the beach. A short drive to a number of restaurants.
Outside
The villa is detached with terraces and private pool. The pool is approximately 8 x 5m. and from the pool and terrace there are fantastic views of the sea and the surrounding hillside. There are few houses along this quiet road and parking is not a problem.
Coast/Beach
Sa Riera, which is 5-10 mins walk, is one of the most picturesque beaches on the Costa Brava. It is a sandy bay, ideal for swimming and snorkelling, with three or four restaurants and a well stocked grocery shop (May-Sept). Other beaches at Pals (walkable) and Sa Tuna under 10 mins by car and 15 minutes to Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc.
Golf
There are many golf courses nearby but the two courses at Pals and the Emporda course at Torroella are all approximately ten minutes drive and considered to be some of the best on the Costa Brava. Slightly further are the challenging course at Mas Nau and Golf Costa Brava at Girona.
Travel
The nearest airport is Gerona which is approximately 45 minutes drive. Barcelona and Perpignan are approximately 90 minutes. From Le Havre (750 miles) and Calais (900 miles) allow 12-14 hours drive. Car hire is highly recommended although there is a very good taxi service.
Further details
A delightful area. Begur has retained its village atmosphere offering a range of small shops, restaurants and a weekly market and often outdoor entertainment in the main square in the summer. The views of the coastline and pine clad hills are breathtaking from Begur and the bay of Sa Riera resembles a picture postcard. Visitors to this area return year after year as it offers something for all age groups.
