This beautiful finca has been recently renovated and stylishly furnished to provide a luxurious, spacious and comfortable home. The house is fully air conditioned and has underfloor heating and an open fire for cooler months. The emphasis is on peace and tranquility in an idyllic rural setting where the only sounds that can be heard are those of goat bells and birds. 50 sq m. of terrace surround the house and the pool. The latter is beautifully positioned on the hillside at the foot of the olive grove and overlooking the mountains. It has 80 sq m. of terrace with contemporary sun loungers. The terraces and pool are all beautifully lit by night. The ancient city of Antequera with its Renaissance and Baroque architecture is only 15 minutes away. Granada and Ronda are approx 1 hour away, Cordoba 1 1/2 hours and Malaga town 25 minutes., making it the ideal location from which to visit these cities. The local village of Villanueva is approx 8 minutes drive.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday during High Season. We can be flexible at other times. Check out is 10.30 am and check-in after 4 pm.

Notes on accommodation
The property has underfloor heating and airconditioning in all rooms.
Accessibility
The terrain is steep in some areas and to fully appreciate the beauty of this finca, some walking is essential. There is a staircase in the finca accessing the second floor.
Outside
The 10 x 5 pool is approached by a gentle walk up from the house. It is equipped with smart, contemporary sun loungers with cushions, tables and large parasols. The shaded dining terrace has a large wooden table which seats 8 people. The pool can be heated in cooler months at an additional cost. Large Gas Barbecue available for guests' use.

Coastal beaches about 35 minutes drive.
Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course on the outskirts of Antequera, approx 25 minutes.
Skiing
Skiing is available in the Sierra Nevada approx 1 1/2 hours drive

Most amenities can be found in Villanueva including 24 hour medical centre, bank, pharmacy, small supermarkets, a fishmonger, butcher, restaurants and bars.
Larger supermarkets are to be found in Antequera
Casabermeja (10 minute drive) has a very good fish restaurant and a restaurant serving traditional Andalucian food. Delicious meals can be provided on request by the excellent cook who also looks after the house.
Booking notes
Please telephone or email to confirm availability and booking. A deposit of 25% will be payable on booking and the balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable deposit of £250 to cover damage and breakages is payable when the final balance is due.
