The apartment is situated in a quiet location, faces south /south-west and is a 5-minute downhill stroll from Playa Burriana, where there is a variety of bars and restaurants, shops and a well-stocked mini-market, (make sure you go to Ayo's restaurant for paella at least once!). A 15-minute walk takes you into the centre of Nerja itself. From the terrace there are far reaching views into the Sierra Almijara Mountains, towards the town whilst in the other direction there are views of the sea and Playa Burriana.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Minimum let is for 4 days. Daily prices based on pro rata weekly rate, as are extra days over normal rate for 1/2 wks.
Discounts for lets over 3wks, by arrangement.
Changeover day
We are flexible on changeover days. To allow time for cleaning please arrive after 1600hrs and vacate by 1000hrs on departure day, unless by arrangement. Joining instructions with directions from Malaga airport are sent about 2wks before departure.

The apartment is supplied with a "free" welcome pack, clean linen, towels and tea towels. An extra set of linen will be provided for those staying longer than a week . You will need to bring your own beach towels. Electricity and water is also included. |

Notes on accommodation
Please note: This a No Smoking apartment.
Electric convector heaters are provided for those staying during cooler periods, and several portable fans for those during warmer times.
Accessibility
The apartment is approached by road from a higher level into a secure, gated car park which is at roof level. From the car park there are several steps down to the front door. It therefore might not be suitable for any one with mobility problems.
Outside
The terrace faces S/SW/W and benefits from panoramic views of the mountains, the town and the sea. To relax there are 2 sun-loungers an oval patio table and 4 chairs. A retractable blind is available should you want to keep cool and shelter from the sun!
Coast/Beach
Playa Burriana, Nerja's biggest and best known beach, awarded the blue flag by the EU on numerous occasions, is just 400m or 5 minutes walk away! Scuba diving, pedalos, canoes, banana boat and various other water activities available (some are seasonal).
There are several other beaches in Nerja itself, or along the coast some quieter ones for those who might want to get away from it all!
Golf
The nearest golf course is Baviera Golf at Caleta de Velez designed by José María Cañizares. An even course characterized by its wide greens with many movements and a great variety of obstacles which offer a range of strokes, an ideal design for all types of handicap. About 15/20 minutes by car.
Añoreta Golf designed by Spanish Ryder Cup player Jose Maria Cañizares at Rincon de la Victoria (30km approx). The course is an interesting challenge suited to players of all abilities. It has generous fairways and fast rolling greens - some of which are well protected by bunkers and water (which comes into play on 11 of the holes including the long 528m 3rd).
Parador del Golf at Malaga and Guadalhorce Malaga are further afield.
Travel
Malaga airport is the nearest, 69km to the apartment which takes about 45 minutes by car on the A7/E15. Also available are Granada, 110km and Almeria, 150km airports. Some guests have also used Seville and found it a useful alternative.
For those not wishing to drive a bus service from Malaga airport to Malaga bus station and from there to Nerja is available at a very reasonable cost.
For those wishing to hire car we can put you in touch with some reasonably priced companies.
Distances
Cuevas de Nerja and Maro village 3km
The white villages of Frigiliana 5km, Torrox 7km & Competa 20km and the hilltop village of Comares 40km are well worth a visit.
Granada and the Alhambra palace (100km) or by local coach tours.
Almunecar 20km & Malaga 53km or by local buses.
Mijas 87km, Antequera 101km, Marbella 116km Ronda 173km etc are all within days travel from Nerja
Gibraltar 189km, Cordoba 208km, Seville 257km,are worth a visit.
AquaVelez waterpark is 20 minutes drive west.
Further details
This is a great area for walking in the Andalucian Mountains or the local Almijara and Alhama Sierras which are preserved as a "Parque Natural". Guides of local walks are available from Smiffs bookshop.
Slightly further away are the Las Alpujarras, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Mulhacen, Spain's highest mountain. A visit to the Spa town of Lanjaron or the mountain villages of Pampaneira, Bubion, Capileira and Trevelez is worthwhile.
Booking notes
Prices are for the apartment per week. Bookings during July and August are preferred Saturday to Saturday. During the rest of the year we are flexible to enable you to make the most of more convenient flights. Minimum booking time 4 days and discount for longer periods (3wks+).
We require 25% of cost at the time of booking + £100 refundable deposit as per our conditions, with the balance to be paid no less than 6 weeks before your booking date.
