Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Prices in euros also available. Part weeks are pro rata. There will be a charge of £35 (€40) for cleaning at the end of each let. Long lets available at special rates: October - March: £430 per month (€450) including electricity and water, plus a charge for cleaning at the end of the let. Other times by arrangement.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, but arrival should be after 2pm and you should leave by 11am. This may be negotiated, depending on your flights.

Notes on accommodation
As temperatures frequently exceed 30C in summer, air conditioning is essential. The lounge and both bedrooms have air conditioning/heating units as well as ceiling fans. The bathroom has a radiator for use in the winter. The cost of running these, together with constant hot water is included in the price. Cleaning of the apartment before arrival is included in the price.
A few toys, videos and bikes suitable for small children are provided.
Accessibility
Allocated parking space is 20 metres from the property. The property is on the first floor, reached by a straight external staircase. Once inside, all facilities are on the same level. The large private solarium is reached by a further flight of stairs.
Outside
The large private solarium has sun loungers, table & chairs and retractable sun shade. It overlooks the pool and has views all around, including the sea, Mojacar pueblo and the mountains in the distance. The small development has a large pool and children's play area 30 metres from the property. A parking space is provided 20 metres from the door.
Coast/Beach
There is a broad sandy beach, excellent for sunbathing and swimming 300m away. This extends for 5km to the town of Garrucha and has various chiringuitos. Part of the beach is dedicated to nude bathing.
Golf
Desert Springs is under 10 minutes drive away and courses within 15 mins drive include Valle del Este, Marina Golf & Cortijo Grande.
Travel
Nearest airports: Almeria (50 minutes drive). Murcia (75 mins). Alicante (120 mins). There is a local bus service, but to explore the surrounding area a car is recommended. Hire cars can be collected from each airport or delivered to the property. A road train runs along the coast road past the property in the summer. It is possible to reach Vera playa by public transport from Alicante, Almeria or Murcia airports for about €30, 20 or 10 per person.
Distances
Large water park 300m away. Puerto Rey 2km shopping centre with bank, ATM. Bar & internet cafe. Villaricos 4km coastal village.
Garrucha 5km - coastal/fishing town with Friday market. Vera 6km - local town with Saturday market. Mojacar 8km - whitewashed hilltop town. San Juan 20km - village with good sandy beaches & beach cafes.
Within 40 min drive: Cabo de Gata - large nature reserve.
Tabernas Desert - where A Fistful of Dollars was shot.
Mini Hollywood - Western film set with shows & zoo.

A number of bars & restaurants are within 200m. Further bars and restaurants are within 5 mins walk. There is a large supermarket 250m away. There is a Chinese buffet at Puerto Rey, 2km away. There are restaurants at Puerto Laguna, 3km away. Garrucha has supermarket, shops, banks, restaurants and beach. Vera has a variety of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and banks.
Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable booking deposit is required. The full balance plus a returnable £100 damage deposit is required 6 weeks before arrival.
