Whether you want a golfing holiday or a luxurious retreat to relax in this is the perfect holiday for you. You will receive a very friendly welcome in the club house which has a bar and restaurant. There are reduced green fees for those staying in the villa. The area has lovely landscaping and the town squares and beach are 5 minutes away. This four bedroom villa sleeps up to eight people and has stunning views across the first hole of the Martin Miguel golf course and surrounding countryside. The property is furnished to a very high standard and comes complete with air conditioning / heating and garden with a very special private pool with patio. The golf course and villa is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Sanlucar with a short drive to the amenities of the town centre and beach. The golf course has a restaurant and bar a short walk away from the villa. There are more facilities a short drive away.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Please note, you may see this villa advertised elsewhere, however, the lowest prices are on this website as Owners Direct do not charge us commission. Discounts available for long lets and late bookings. Please enquire. We can take payment by credit card. Payment in sterling can also be arranged. Remember the average daily temperature in October is 25 degrees!

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Arrival time from 3pm onwards and departure time is 10am.

Notes on accommodation
We have made this villa a real home from home environment, so there is air-conditioning for the hot days and heating for the winter. English TV lovers will not have to miss any of their favourite programmes! Wi Fi is available for anyone wanting to bring their laptop.
Accessibility
There are a few stairs down to the front door and stairs in the garden down to the swimming pool. Therefore you should take care with small children should there be any in your party.
Outside
There are gardens all around the villa. The garden is well maintained and watered to keep it in tip-top condition.
The 15 x 6m private swimming pool has paving around it, a shower for you to rinse under and 8 pool chairs for sunbathing with hard standing around the edge so that there are no muddy patches or prickly growth under foot. The pool is internally lit for evenings.
A large canopied seating area with table and chairs for 8 ensures you can enjoy eating and relaxing outside without the heat spoiling your enjoyment. There is a barbecue on the same level for your use. Off street parking provided for 2 cars, further parking in road in front of villa.
Coast/Beach
The beach is just 5 minutes away by car. The sand is the best you will find in spain and its long promenade has lots of restaurants for you to choose from.
Golf
The villa is situated on the Martin Miguel golf course and overlooks the first tee so you have almost no distance to go to start your round. The green fees are discounted for guests staying in the villa.
This well laid out golf course by Borja Queipo de Llano, full advantage has been taken of the topography with its white hills and Atlantic Ocean backdrop. This is an 18 hole par 72 course that compares and contrasts. The outward nine holes are comparable to the British preference for tight fairways littered with bunkers and holes tucked on the edge of greens. The inward nine holes contrast starkly with a more American influence. Water features are not in short supply providing obstacles on seven holes and two tier greens.
It will take approx. 4 hours to complete the 18 holes. There is also a driving range, practice greens and practice sand bunkers. The club itself is Andalucian in design with a contemporary atmosphere inside.

Travel
20 mins from Jerez airport (direct flights from Stansted, Liverpool and Manchester). 1 hour to Seville; 2.5 hours to Malaga: 1.5 hours to Gibralter.
Car is recommended. A local bus service runs every half hour connecting Sanlucar Club de Campo to the centre of Sanlucar and to other beach areas.
Distances
Jerez is 20 minutes drive, Cadiz 30 minutes, Sevilla 1 hour drive. Gibraltar 1.5 hour and Tarifa and surrounding beaches 1-2 hours drive. Malaga 2.5 hours drive. Tangiers in Morocco is 30 minute ferry crossing from Tarifa. Easy access to miles of sandy beaches hosting a wide range of water sports especially popular is kite surfing, wind surfing and boogie bording. Close to mountains, lakes and forestry.
Further details
The delightful Sanlucar de Barrameda is true Spain. The town is flanked by the Guadalquivir estuary with the beach holding famous horse racing on the beach which attracts leading jockeys from all over Europe.
Dinner in the plaza of the old town is a step back in time with rarely a word of English heard. The heart of the old town is Plaza del Cabildo with restaurants and tapas bars abounding. The price of dinner is amazingly cheap for such fine fare which must be at least sampled with the local Manzanilla wine. There are a number of bodegas and wineries within a couple of minutes walk of the centre for a great afternoon's tasting session. The architecture of the old town is very ornate, with 13th century Sentura de la O Iglesia simply staggering.
