Casita Loma is a large villa with many terraces and patios with seating and tables, and four bathrooms – each bedroom and the studio having en-suite facilities. On the upper (driveway) level is the entrance hall, lounge, dining room, kitchen, one double and one twin room, each with luxury bathrooms. The third twin room and the studio are on the lower (pool) level which can be reached by internal spiral stairs or the external steps. The studio has twin-beds, a lounge with settee and double sofa bed, kitchenette, and its own independent entrance. Casita Loma is not overlooked and is situated in about one acre on a private hillside some four miles inland from Fuengirola, within an 8 minute walk (2 mins by car) of the Mijas Golf Courses (2 x 18 holes) and the famous 5* Byblos Hotel. The villa's multiple terraces and patios allow one to find unruffled peace - even from each other!

Changeover day
To allow time for cleaning, the villa is to be vacated by 10am on day of departure, and is available from 3pm on day of arrival.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is not overlooked, and has a light, relaxed atmosphere with wide-spread bedrooms. Children are welcome, but should really be over eight years as there are spiral stairs and stone steps.

Accessibility

Outside
There is easy parking and turning for cars in the wide driveway. The pool has steps and slopes from about 1m to 2m depth over about 8m length. There are five isolated patio areas each with table and seating for six. Additionally there is the 'sunken' patio below the pool, the terracotta tiled 'barbecue' north patio, the 'top' patios above the villa, and the 'secret' garden. Nine areas to quietly read a book! For winter guests there is electric heating, and an open gas fire in the lounge. All water heating is by electric immersion heaters.
Coast/Beach
Beach at 4.0 miles.
Golf
The Mijas Golf Course is just a few minutes walk from the villa providing excellent facilities and has two superb 18-hole courses. There are very many other Championship Golf Courses along the coast, all within 10 – 45 minutes drive.
Skiing
For winter visitors the Sierra Nevada ski slopes are a 2 hour drive away.
Special interest holidays
The Lew Hoad tennis club, horse riding, go-carting and Mijas Aqua Park are all within 10 minutes drive.
Distances
The popular coastal towns of Fuengirola and Benalmadena are within a short drive, Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 20 minutes away, Gibraltar 1.5 hours and Seville 2.5 hours.
Further details
Mijas Pueblo is a 15 minute drive up the mountain, most enchanting with numerous shops, bars and restaurants. There are carriage rides and donkey trips around the narrow streets. A large supermarket is about 5 minutes drive away towards Fuengirola where most requirements are available.

25% of rental is payable with booking. The balance is due together with refundable damages deposit of £200, six weeks prior to start of holiday.
