Cortijo El Buho is a delightful detached villa set peacefully on the edge of the National Park with beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding countryside The villa has extensive grounds scattered with olive and fruit trees and is just a short drive from the picturesque historic whitewashed village of Frigiliana. Frigiliana, with its pretty, flower-lined cobbled streets, and spectacular views around every corner, has a wealth of interesting shops selling local produce and crafts, a small weekly market, and a wide variety of cafes and restaurants. A further 10 mins away is the seaside town of Nerja, with 10 miles of excellent Mediterranean beaches. Nerja is a great blend of old and new, with its narrow lanes, large weekly market and a variety of options for shopping and dining.
The cortijo was built in 2005 in the rustic style and finished to the highest standard with every modern convenience. This home from home has everything you could need for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Short breaks plus Monday, Friday or Saturday start days available. Arrival time 4pm and departure time 10am.

Home from home excellent facilities, beautiful views, so peaceful and relaxing. Close to Frigiliana, close to the beach but far enough away from everywhere
A gem of a villa. Our welcome on arrival was warm and friendly thanks to Barry (5 Star). The villa was spotlessly clean with every possible amenity. What a wonderful holiday we've had. Will definitely be back

As this is our home in the winter months we wanted visitors to feel that this was also their 'home from home', a place to truly relax and get rid of the stresses and strains of modern life. However for those who just can't live without it there is also access to internet, UK satellite TV and a selection of DVD films to watch.
The villa and the pool provide such a fantastic setting that even with all the other attractions in the region it is hard to drag yourself away! Every care has been taken to provide a wonderful place for you to stay and guests will always receive a warm welcome when they arrive. Barry, meets and greets all guests on our behalf and always ensures that new visitors have everything they need.
