This luxury duplex in the beautiful river village of Pinos Genil has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge/diner, kitchen and 30sq meter roof terrace with fantastic views of the picturesque village and surrounding hills. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to the centre of Pinos Genil, a beautiful village through which the river Genil runs. On either side of the river there are typical Spanish restaurants, where you can eat outside under the shade of the numerous trees, observing the slow pace of village life. In many ways you might think you are in a French village rather than in Spain. Pinos Genil is 5 minutes drive to the fabulous Aquaola water park, the majestic Alhambra Palace and 10 minutes from the centre of lively Granada. Granada is one of the most beautiful cities of southern Spain and is typically Spanish. You won’t hear many English voices. If you do not wish to go out of Pinos Genil to eat, there are a total of nine restaurants in the village to choose from.

Changeover days are flexible.Keys are available from 5.00pm on arrival and we ask you leave before 10.00 on departure. This is purely for the benefit of the cleaners and usually negotiable. Secure storage of luggage etc is available

There is a large 30sq meter roof terrace with fantastic views of the picturesque village and surrounding hills. This sun terrace has 4 sun loungers, table & 4 chairs and a luxury stainless steal gas barbeque for enjoying the summer evenings. Parking is available on the road outside. There are up to 5 bicylces with helmets available for use and included in the price.

Coast/Beach
The beaches of Playa Granada are approximately 25 minutes drive away.

Golf
There are 3 golf courses within 15 to 20 minutes drive.

Skiing
The ski-resort of Sierra Nevada is only 2O minutes drive. The resort has skiing at an altitude of over 10,000 feet and brilliant sunshine most of the winter. The views are spectacular, almost unbelievable. From the top of the Veleta peak, skiers can see across the Mediterranean to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
The resort town of Pradollano at the base of the first series of lifts, is modern with a hint of traditional charm. It is purpose-built for skiing and has been well located for that pursuit. It has been greatly enhanced with the construction of new alpine-style buildings and four-storey underground parking complex with a capacity of 2,880 vehicles. Most facilities are located around the main Plaza. It has a huge variety of cafés, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. It also has everything else including crèche facilities for children, an ice rink, a cinema and shops selling and hiring snowboard and ski equipment. Free snow boarding lessons are available by arrangement.

Distances
Pinos Genil is 7 kilometers (10 mins drive) to the city of Granada, 5 mins drive to the Alhambra Palace, 25 kilometers (25 mins drive) to the Sierra Nevada ski resort and 25 mins drive to the beach of Playa Granada. There is a lovely riverside walk from the apartment to Granada.

We have 5 bicycles and helmets available and included in the price.
Try the fabulous Aquaola waterpark; it's well worth a visit and just 5 mins drive.
