My 200m2 villa is situated in a peaceful area surrounded of villas with large plots, so it feels open. It is 30 minutes walk or 7 minutes drive to the peaceful blue flag beach village of Albir or to picturesque Altea – an art centre with a large concert hall. Albir has a beautiful pebbled beach with some sand, and the view of the bay is stunning. Enjoy a walk along the mile long promenade with many restaurants between Albir and Altea. Lovely coastal mountain walks is recommended - only 40 minutes drive away. Drive to the fortress village of Guadalest with Moorish castle and a stunning mountain scenery. Mundomar Theme Park and Aqualandia (Water Park) and Tierra Mitica theme park are only 15 minutes drive away. The guided large grotto Cuvas de Canelobre must bee experienced - only 40 minutes drive away. The striking Costa Blanca is known for its mountains in the background and fabulous dry, sunny and moderate weather. Average rainfall is about 10 inch per year.

Changeover day
Saturday. Arrivals after 4pm, on departure day clients must be out by 11am.

There are no steps for access to the villa, and it ha no steps. But bathrooms are not built for wheelchair users.

There are 6 sun loungers, outside shower, 3 separate areas for dining. Pool, 9x4.5 m, buit in 2006. A free standing large BBQ built in 2007. Many plants maintained of a professional gardener.

Albir beach, pebbles, 7 minutes driving distance. Benidorm beach, sand, 15 minutes driving distance.

Further details
There is a local supermarket with a wide choice of local and imported goods. The restaurants are typically Spanish and International. There is a very helpful Tourist Info office in Albir. The surrounding countryside is well worth exploring with day trips to Guadalest, Calpe, Tierra Mitica theme park and many other places. In Altea is a beautiful concert hall. In Valencia is a large new opera house with an impressive architecture.
There are interesting markets every week in Alfaz, Albir, and Altea.
This year 6 of rented weeks are of persones that rented last year.
Booking notes
20% deposit (not repayable) is required on booking payed to my Spanish bank. Balance is due 2 weeks before arrival to the same bank.

About the owner
I am Norwegian and in this house I am renting out I have lived since 1996. My wife and I live 8 months a year here in Spain and rent out the house in the summer when we vacation with family and friends in Norway. The area here has the best climate in Europe. It is close to several beaches and thriving cities and towns. In Altea and Albir there are many restaurants with good food and pleasant atmosphere. Calpe has many fish restaurants along the sea. The cave Cuevas de Canelobre which is a half hour drive from here is also worth a visit. If one enjoys walks in the mountainous terrain, there are many opportunities nearby. My caretakers when we are away are Belgian and speaks Spanish, French and English.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Here are mostly one-family houses - about 200. It is away from traffic and is a quiet place. It is close to Albir, Altea and Benidorm - close to beaches.
