A luxurious & modern 3 bedroom penthouse apartment on the prestigious Roda Golf Resort, which is the latest PGA golf course in Spain. Offering a peaceful, secure location, the apartment is ideal for families and golfers, with a furnished terrace & very large private roof solarium also with table, chairs and loungers to benefit from around 300 days of sunshine with average temperatures of 21º. The apartment has A/C and central heating. There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, grill, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish washer. The sitting room has a TV(BBC & ITV) and DVD. The resort has 24 hour security and the brand new clubhouse has a bar and restaurant. The white sandy beaches of the Mar Menor is less than 5 mins drive away, further shops/restaurants/bars are all only 2 mins drive away. Family and friends can enjoy a wide range of holiday fun including water sports, sailing, cultural amenities and shopping. 20 mins drive are the historical cities of Cartegana and Murcia.

Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day but other days will be considered, dependent on availability. Entry will be from 2pm on the day of arrival and would ask you vacate the apartment by 11am on the day of departure, unless previously agreed.

Living Rooms: Large lounge/dining room with marbled floor room. Tastefully furnished with L-shaped sofa, coffee table, cable TV, DVD player, Ipod speakers. Dining table with 4 chairs. Large sliding doors open up onto terrace with stunning views over the golf course.
Other: The very large roof solarium has magnificent views of the golf course and Mar Menor bay. It is furnished with 4 sunbeds, 2 tables and 8 chairs to enjoy outdoor eating. There are also 4 portable sunbeds & chairs for use either at the pool or solarium.

Notes on accommodation
High chair and cot can be made available at a small charge. The apartment has full, remote controlled, centralized air-conditioning plus gas central heating for any cool nights out of season.

The apartment maybe suitable for people with mobility problems as there is a lift to apartment.

Outside
This penthouse apartment is on the 2nd floor and has a lift which is situated near to the front door. The large shared swimming pool with gardens and grassed areas is a few paces from the access to the lift and stairs.

Coast/Beach
Only a five minute drive will bring you to the Mar Menor, a huge lagoon 26km long and 7km wide which is well known for its warm tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. As well as Los Alcazares beach, the Costa Calida, offers a number of blue flag rated beaches. The vast majority of them are sandy beaches but there are pebbled beaches and rocky alcoves for snorkelling. Why not try the famous mud baths for a health reviving treatment?

Golf
Roda Golf Course is a superb 18 hole, par 72, golf course designed by Dave Thomas, one of the most prestigious European golf designers. The layout was created by combining different environments and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation. It is the first course in Murcia to attain the ISO 14.001 environment award. The clubhouse, which overlooks a large lake next to the 9th green is managed by the prestigious De Vere group. Visitors to this apartment enjoy a 20% discount on green fees. Serving drinks and food, the clubhouse is a lovely place to relax. During the summer there is live music at the weekends. In addition to having this golf course right on your door step there are there are many golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the apartment. These include La Manga Club, Torre Pacheco Golf Course, Los Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin Golf Courses, Mosa Trajectum Golf course.

Travel
San Javier Airport, 10 minutes drive. Alicante Airport is 40 minute drive. A car is recommended to make the most of your holiday. Car, bike and motor bike hire are available in Los Alcazares. Transfers can be arranged from Murcia and Alicante Airports. With direct access to the N322 and the A-7 Los Alcazares is easily accessible. Also, there is local train station linking to major Spanish towns.

Distances
Los Alcazares is less then a 5 minute drive. Cartegana and Murcia are all around 20 minutes drive. There is also a railway station 5 minutes drive away which offers connections to Madrid and Barcelona if you would like to venture further afield.

Further details
The resort and is only a 5 min drive from the Mar Menor with its 7km of flat promenades, fabulous beaches and the centre of Los Alcazares. This is a typically Spanish town with many delightful restaurants, tapas bars, banking, supermarkets and shops. The area is extremely flat therefore cycling is an ideal way of slowing down and trying out some of the beaches and bars! There are many street markets. Mondays: San Pedro del Pinatar. Tuesdays: Los Alcazares Town Centre. Wednesdays: Santiago de La Ribera. Thursdays: San Javier. Fridays: Torrevieja. Saturdays: Los Narejos and Torre Pacheco. Sundays: Cabo de Palos. Why not explore the Mar Menor Islands? There are five uninhabitated islands in the Mar Menor. Isla del Baron (or Isla Mayor) and Isla Perdiguera are located near the centre of the lagoon and the other three Isla del Ciervo, Isla Rondella and Isla del Sujeto are grouped together near the southern end of the La Manga strip. Isla del Ciervo is connected to La Manga by a short causeway. Isla Perdiguera is a popular destination for boat excursions with bars and restaurants on its small harbour. Ferries run frequently from Los-Alcazares and other towns on the Mar Menor in the Summer. Fancy something different then why not try a mud bath. The water and the mud in the Mar Menor have a high concentration of minerals which has been found to carry healing powers for people suffering arthritis, rheumatism, tendinitis, and joint ailments, skin ailments, as well as enhancing blood flow around the body.

Booking notes
Booking deposit of 50% of total to be paid within 7 days of booking. Balance to be paid six weeks before the start date. Reservation will be cancelled in the event of non payment of the balance. In the event of cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property and refund your money less a £50 cancellation fee. However, in the event that we are unable to do this we will not be able to refund the deposit. £50 security cheque required to be held against damage, extra clean or lost key.

Ian Clift -All five of us had a really wonderful holiday. Our boys thought it was one of the best apartment they had stayed in and made many new friends around the excellent pool. We found there were a number of excellent restaurants with Rosalinds and Bayside being our favourites. We also cooked a number of light meals in the apartment and found the kitchen was well equipped and really did not lack anything and the dishwasher made light work of any dishes!
Anna Reid - We had a fantastic time at Roda, the apartment was very modern and comfortable. The complex is very well maintained and quiet, we quite often had the swimming pool to ourselves! We will definitely be visiting Roda again next year.
Bernie Spalding -We found the apartment ideal for our stay, it was clean, suitably equipped for all our needs and with plenty of space for 7 golfers and golf clubs. With the discount on the golf we managed to save over 400 Euros for the week. Would recommend your apt for golfers and families.
