Tucked away amongst olive and almond groves, this little gem nestles on a hillside in the grounds of a beautiful Andalucian farmhouse. The views are spectacular, the lifestyle relaxing and the ambience of the area alluring. The spacious property offers exceptional comfort, surrounded by luscious gardens and patios along with your own private pool. The property is only a short drive to the local village of Colmenar and provides an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, medical centre and a bustling weekly market. The location is an ideal base for day trips to historic Granada, cosmopolitan Marbella, Malaga old town, Antequera and Ronda. Close by are 2 beautiful Natural Parks. The Torcal with its fabulous rock formations and the Montes de Malaga with tranquil walks throught cool pine forests. Both areas are abundant with natural flora and fauna, ideal for nature lovers, walkers and tourists alike. However a cool glass of wine by the pool is also an option!

Changeover day
No stipulation on arrival and departure days. Arrival times to be arranged at time of booking. Departures by 10.30 am unless other wise arranged with ourselves.

Accommodation

The property offers a large, spacious double bedroom with king size bed, french doors leading onto the gardens, plenty of storage space and an ensuite shower room.
If preferred, there is also a twin bedroom available, again with plenty of storage space and with a separate private bathroom with large walk in shower, wash basin and toilet.
The accommodation has its own spacious lounge with large comfy sofas, sat. TV and DVD, stereo system, wood burning stove and a selection of books, games and DVDs.
There is also a lovely Andalucian tiled kitchen for your sole use with coffee and tea making facilities, a full size fridge/freezer and microwave.
A delicious continental breakfast, including local produce, is served on the shaded terrace outside, overlooking the pool and magnificent views. If preferred it can be provided inside in the dining area. A full English breakfast can be provided on request. Wine, drinks and light snacks are also available. Evening meals provided on request.

 

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have heating in the winter months and fans for those hot summer nights. All windows have mosquito nets to ensure optimum comfort during your stay. The property has its rooms all on one level.

Accessibility
The property is located 4.5 kms from the village of Colmenar on a good tarmac road with the last 300 metres down our private drive. There are a few steps down to the property from where you park your car, but the property itself is all on one level and very spacious with no interior steps. There are 3/4 very wide steps down to the pool area and all the outside areas are paved.

Outside
Casa Bellavista has its own private pool and planted gardens. This spectacular location, hence the name, enables you to enjoy the panoramic views from the property, pool and gardens. There are ample sunloungers, parasols, a table and chairs for dining "al-fresco" under a shaded area, all to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. Direct and easy access from the pool and gardens into the property. Ample parking.

Coast/Beach
There are a vast selection of beaches to choose from, the nearest being approx 30 mins by car. Due to our location visiting the west or east of Malaga coast is a comfortable drive.

Golf
There are innumerable golf courses along this coastline, all of exceptional quality and attract players of all levels. The nearest ones are approx 25mins. Further details can be provided if required.

Skiing
The popular ski resort of Sierra Nevada, near Granada is less than 2 hours drive. A comprehensive selection of pistes for all levels, ski school, equipment hire, snow boarding and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Special interest holidays
Locally there are painting, cooking courses and yoga workshops. Please ask for further details if required.
