La Manga is on the south-east coast of Spain, part of the 253km of stunning Mediterranean coast between Andalucia, Castilla la Mancha and Valencia, known as the Costa Calida, 'warm coast'. La Manga strip, contains long palm tree lined promenades, marinas and plenty of bars and restaurants to relax in and enjoy. Coast/Beach
50 meters from the sea and very close to a cove on the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a haven for Water Sports enthusiasts. The beaches are also very clean and the water is safe for children bathing.
Golf
La Manga is famed for it's golf and has many challenging courses at all standards including La Manga Club which hosts 3 Championship Golf Courses.
Travel
Murcia Airport 40 mins. Car hire optional. A water taxi can take you over the Mar Menor to the Puerto Tomas Maestre. Alicante Airport 1hr 20mins. Car hire required.
Distances
The nearest restaurants are within walking distance at Puerto Thomas Maestre. The marina also has a passenger ferry to the other side of the Mar Menor.
There are many shopping centres on the La Manga strip and 45 mins to the major shopping centre at Parque Mediterraneo in Cartagena.
The nearest town is Cabo de Palos a charming fishing village. The regional capital (Murcia) is an hours drive away and well worth a visit.

Puerto Tomas Maestre is just a short walk away and has a wide array of shops, supermarkets, banks, cashpoints, bars and restaurants.
