We would like to welcome you to our holiday home in a quiet location of Lo Marabu. You can relax and enjoy the scenery of the near by salt lakes, dip in the pool or visit the villages and towns nearby. There are several local markets to enjoy if you’re looking for that "bargain" and plenty of water parks to suit all ages. Please note that we would ask you to respect that inside it is a non-smoking villa. We operate a strict 'meet and greet' policy, so that we are happy that you will be happy about the location of our house, and the facilities within it. Arrival after 23:00 hours would incur a locally paid 15 euro surcharge.

Whilst we would prefer bookings Friday to Friday, we are flexible.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1, double bed, large mirrored dressing table, built-in wardrobes, and safe. Leads to large sun terrace/balcony with a wonderful view.
Bedroom 2, twin beds and built-in wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 (ground floor), twin beds and built-in wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Upstairs, large family bathroom with bath/shower, wc, bidet, basin and large well lit mirror.
Downstairs shower room, with wc, basin with large well lit mirror.
Kitchen: A dream kitchen, ideal for families or entertaining! Incl, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and all the normal pots, pans, crockery and utensils (and paella pan of course!). Also washing machine.
Utility Room: No separate utility.
Living Rooms: Sunny stylish living room with sofas, glass tables. TV/DVD combo, Hi Fi/radio with an ever growing selection of CDs, DVDs, books, maps etc.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included in the rental but bring your own beach/pool towels. Whilst property is cleaned before and after your stay (compulsory cleaning fee extra), additional cleaning can be booked directly with our friends who look after our house.

 

Notes on accommodation
Our house is suitable for holidaying all year round, with full air conditioning (20 euro per week surcharge), which heats as well as cools!

Accessibility
There are a few steps up to the front door, but with the spacious accommodation downstairs, including a bedroom and shower/toilet, it should cause minimal hassle to the elderly, and people with mobility problems.
We have off road parking, which we strongly advocate using, as it keeps the private road clear of vehicular obstructions.

Outside
Patio area outside, ideal for al fresco eating.
There is a large sun terrace that leads off the main bedroom, which itself provides a wonderful view, as well as one that overlooks the communal pool area that has a children's section.

Coast/Beach
You can enjoy many of the beautiful beaches along the Costa Blanca coastline, Guadamar being the most popular, is just an 8 minute drive away, with La Mata and La Zenia beaches also close by.
Refreshments are available on the beaches during the peak season, and are reasonably priced.
Along the beach at Guadamar are many excellent restaurants that are open for most of the year.

Golf
There are numerous golf course on the Costa Blanca coastline. The closest, approx 15 mins drive are Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campomar, La Marquesa and La Finca. Green fees can be booked in advance. Further afield approx 35 mins there are the world famous golf courses of the Mar Menor including the Polaris World resorts and Mar Menor La Manga.

Travel
It is only a 30 minute drive south from Alicante airport, or a 50 minute drive north of Murcia airport.
We would strongly recommend car hire. There are many rental companies at both airports, but we have found booking in advance through skycars.com reliable.
If you do require airport transfers, we can arrange this for you.

Distances
Quesada, 15 mins walk with restaurants, bars, and shops. Guadamar 8 mins drive (beaches, small fairground, parks, dune reserve, marina).
Torrevieja old town, 15 mins drive (lovely seaside town inc fairground/aquapark/beaches).
Orihuela, 15 mins drive (beautiful old town in mountain, architecture, cathedrals).
Rojales, 10 mins drive, traditional Spanish village with weekly market.

Further details
Within walking distance there are 3 supermarkets and several restaurants and bars. There is also a Cam Bank (hole in the wall) by the supermarkets.

Booking notes
Any booking would require a 25% non-refundable deposit with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
A £100 key/damage deposit is required along with the balance, which will be refunded after satisfactory inspection of the house within 1 week of departure. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before departure will require payment in full. No liability is accepted by owners for loss of guests personal effects, please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover.
