Outside
The outside of the property includes a large tiled patio area incorporating a gazebo with tables and chairs, also multiple sun loungers, plus a mobile umbrella, plus barbecue. The 8 by 5m pool is situated behind the owner's villa on the same large plot of enclosed land and visitors have full private use at all times. There is a Pool-House with a bar. Visitors are welcome to use this with their own drinks.
Coast/Beach
The coastal resorts around Motril or Malaga are only a 60-75 minute drive from our location.
Golf
Nearest golf courses are about a 40 minute drive
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is just under 1 hours drive from the cottage.
Travel
We are situated around 2km away from the motorway access to Granada airport 15 minutes (17km), Malaga airport (50 mins). Car hire is essential and can be picked up at the airport. Please note that at present Granada Airport is not doing uk flights.
Distances
The town of Moraleda de zafayona is a 5 minute drive away, Granada is a 25 minute drive (25km), Malaga is a 45 minute drive (80km), Loja is a 15 minute drive (15km), Santa Fe is a 20 minute drive away (18km).
Further details
Moraleda has numerous supermarkets, local shops, banks, chemist, bars and restaurants. Larger supermarkets (Mercadona/Lidl) can be found in Loja, Huetor Tajar and Santa Fe.

About the owner
Anthony Walker retired from a family-owned bookmaking business in the summer of 2007 and with his wife Sue, a former M&S employee, moved to Spain for a better way of life. We are easy-going people and have loved to see our visitors, young and old, really enjoy the rural way of life.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Not ones for the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts we viewed a large number of inland properties over a five year period. We finally chose Moraleda because it's tranquil yet has everything to offer both young and old. The properties in Los Tablazos are all on large separate enclosed plots and give total privacy.The A92 motorway is five minutes away and gives direct access to Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and Malaga. The drive to Granada airport is fifteen minutes.
Unique benefits of the property
The property is on the same 2500 sq.mtrs plot as our own house so any difficulties that crop up, we are on hand unlike many others where you need to ring someone to come and sort it out.
