This well-equipped mountain air conditioned villa is located in a quiet residential area with views of the mountains and the sea.It has a very large pool, 41ft by 21ft. There are two superb sun terraces which are equipped with tables and chairs for outside dining, ample sunloungers and parasols, perfect for alfresco dining or pre-dinner drinks whilst watching the sunset. The villa has its own garden, shaded with pine, olive and almond trees. Nature walks on the mountain can be reached directly from the villa. The air-conditioning can be reversed to heating in the cooler months with a recently added wood burner in the living room. Off road parking for 2 cars. A car is necessary to fully appreciate the many attractions of the area. Denia town maintains it's Spanish charm and has many good restaurants, bars, shops, and a weekly Monday market. Friendly and local representation available.

Saturday is our preferred changeover day, but this can be flexible in off peak seasons only.

Kitchen: Well-equipped kitchen with marble worktops, full size oven and ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle.
Living Rooms: (1). Dining area seating for six.Large,open-plan, beamed living room with door to upper sun terrace. Has air-con, wood burner and hifi. (2). There is a second lounge level with comfortable seating and sat TV, DVD and video players.
Other: Top sun terrace is perfect for outside living and dining and includes a BBQ.

Linen is included and changed weekly. Bath towels and teatowels are provided. The villa is cleaned each changeover day. Duvets are provided in the winter.

Notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning can be used for heating during cold spells. There is a wood burner in the sitting room with initial wood supplied. The upper terrace can be locked off to ensure children do not have access to the pool unsupervised. Sun beds with mattresses and parasols are included. There is a double carport for the use of guests.

Accessibility
This property is accessed via steps and is unsuitable for wheelchairs.

Outside
Villa Montgo is an ideal location for a relaxed quieter holiday.The extra large private swimming pool is 41ft x 21ft and surrounded by ample paved terracing. There are steps into the shallow end and a dipping seat at the deep end. The pool has underwater lighting and the surrounding terrace has lighting for evening bathing. The villa stands in it's own private grounds of approximately one-fifth of an acre. There are many trees to sit under in the shade. There are views over the valley to the mountain and Denia.

Coast/Beach
Safe sandy beaches with lifeguards in the summer season can be reached in approx 10 minutes by car. Rocky coves can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car. The white sandy beaches stretch for miles as far as the eye can see!

Golf
15 minutes drive to the famous La Sella championship golf course. Javea also has a golf course.

Travel
Alicante and Valencia airports are about 1.5 hours drive away along the motorway. A car is essential and we can advise on car hire.

Distances
Walks on the mountain and Iberian ruins are on the doorstep. Denia is about 5 minutes by car. The beautiful city of Valencia is only one hour's drive away. Last year Valencia hosted the Americas Cup with races between April and June with great new facilities. There is a good rail link to Valencia with an hourly service from Gandia.

Further details
Large supermarket 5 minutes by car. Horse riding, tennis and watersports are all available within a 15 minute car ride. Caves, safari parks, go-karting, sailing, diving, windsurfing are nearby.Denia has a fantastic range of shops and restaurants. Wonderful walking in Montgo National park is accessible directly from the villa.

Booking notes
Deposit is required at the time of booking together with a confirmation letter. 8 weeks before departure we require the payment of the balance including the returnable damage deposit of £75. The damage deposit is normally returned within two weeks.

Lyn and myself are a retired couple with 2 daughters and two grandchildren. We have enjoyed Villa Montgo for more than 25 years now, and our Marina apartment, ref. S5, in L'Escala for 20 years. During this time we have dedicated ourselves to constantly upgrade the properties to make them not only the comfortable accommodation that they provide now, but to exceed your expectations today.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our dream was to be in an extra special area with many typical towns and cities,be very near to the sea, have a wide choice of beaches,but also be on a mountain to take advantage of all the stunning views. We found Villa Montgo, and instantly fell in love with it's unique position being surrounded by the Montgo National Park (on the doorstep), and having a coastal view all the way to Cullera 15 miles away. Close proximity to the still unspoilt and laid back atmosphere of Denia and the welcome you receive from it's very friendly people. Miles of sandy, child friendly beaches one way and miles of rocky beaches in the opposite direction - the choice is yours. Villa Montgo provides us (and you) with the perfect tranquil setting to chill out as we feel we deserve - and so will you!

Villa Montgo provides you with the perfect base to explore everything this beautiful and spectacular area can offer. All sports, restaurants, beaches,walks, golf courses,fiestas, etc,etc! Glorious mountain walks direct from the villa door, and all the wonderful views. The comfort you deserve by virtue of inclusive air-conditioning in Summer and the wood buring stove in cooler weeks. In our view we could not have made a better choice all those years ago!
