We have to offer a very comfortable apartment in the ground floor of a small block situated at the entrance of La Sirena. A popular urbanization off the brand new promenade and main coastal road N340 in Benajarafe, province of Málaga. It has wonderful sea views as the beach is right in front and all the local shops, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, making it ideal for easy going holidays. Benajarafe is a growing village in the famous Costa del Sol, approx. 30 mins drive from Malaga airport and just 10 mins from Torre del Mar and Rincón de la Victoria for those seeking busier resorts. Two 18-hole golf courses are located within 15 mins drive. The weather in this area is excellent all year round. Benajarafe has many bars, cafés and restaurants, a variety of other services, and a Beach Promenade ideal for long walks. A wide variety of amenities and activities are within reach: golf, sailing, jet skiing, fishing, Aqua Park, go-karting, horse riding, trekking, etc.

Kitchen: Open plan fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric fan oven and grill, fridge/ freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster. All the necessary cutlery, dishes, glasses, pans and pots provided.
Living Rooms: Sofabed and coffee table. Spanish and satellite TV (BBC, ITV), wall unit. Dinner table and 4 chairs.
Other: Separate airing cupboard with extra bedding, ironing board, drying rack.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels (except beach/pool towels) are supplied at the start of the holiday and changed weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
Free easy parking outside the apartment.
Some basic food items such as coffee, sugar, milk, bar of bread, cooking oil, salt and pepper and other cleaning products like washing up liquid, washing soap, cloths conditioner, etc. are initially provided.

A cot and/or highchair are provided on demand. Please note that the apartment is a no smoking environment and no pets are allowed.

Accessibility
The apartment is in the ground floor with easy access from the street, suitable for weelchair users.

Outside
Comfortable front terrace with sea views. The beach is right in front: you just need to cross the road and all the fun is just there!

Coast/Beach
50m walking distance. Benajarafe's beach is very long 2.5km approx and quite wide. You can easily find a spot and enjoy the sun and the sea without being disturbed. There is a variety of Chriringuitos (beach restaurants) all along which provide lounges and beach umbrellas. There are also amusement playgrounds for the children and many people enjoys fishing day and night.
Chilches' Beach is also nearby and very popular with families.

Golf
Baviera golf at Torre del Mar and Añoreta Golf at Rincón de la Victoria 10-15 minutes drive.

Skiing
Skiing at famous Sierra Nevada resort in Granada is just 2 hrs drive away from November to April.

Travel
Malaga airport 30 minutes drive via motorway. There are many car hire companies based at or near the airport. A car is recommended to move around the area, although there is a regular bus service to Málaga or Nerja.

Distances
Torre del Mar is 10 mins drive to the east with a wide variety of bars, cafés and restaurants, a long beach, a modern shopping centre and cinemas, Thursday street market, Aqua Park, etc. The beautiful Lake Viñuela is just 15 mins drive inland. Rincón de la Victoria is 15 mins drive to the west, with very nice beach and promenade, shopping centre and cinemas, bars, cafés and restaurants and Natural Caves (Cueva del Tesoro).

Further details
Málaga is 20 mins drive to the west. The Alcazaba, Gibralfaro Castle, the Malagueta Bull ring, the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral are well worth a visit.

Night life in Benalmádena and Torremolinos is just 40 minutes away. Our local Fiesta is in August, but Benajarafe is ideally located to easily enjoy one-day trips to Granada and Sierra Nevada, Marbella, Ronda, Gibraltar, Antequera, Nerja, Almuñecar, the Axarquía and many more.

The local area provides a wide opportunity to enjoy different religious, cultural and social events and traditions throughout the year: typical Spanish fiestas, Easter, Christmas, Gastronomic celebrations, to mention just a few. Celebrating in Spanish style is a must! A comprehensive introductory booklet to the area is available in the property, including maps and leaflets of amenities.

Booking notes
A provisional booking can be made via email or phone to enable flights to be booked. A non refundable 25% deposit is requested to confirm your booking with the full balance being due at the start of your holiday. A £120 refundable damage deposit will be payable on arrival.
