Our villa is located on a very quiet urbanization 5 minutes drive or 20 minute walk from L'Estartit. It has a fabulous private swimming pool which is 12x4m and has Roman steps. The villa is very modern in style and is light and airy with all mod cons. The spacious rooms all have gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside or sea. The 2 master bedrooms have private terraces, which are perfect for an early evening G+T! The 3 bathrooms are fitted to a very high standard with one having a jacuzzi bath and the other 2 with enclosed shower areas with glass doors. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen is very sociable and leads out to a covered terrace with fabulous views. You have direct access to the woodland behind the villa via a private gate, making it ideal for children going out to play or walkers accessing the local trails. It is air conditioned throughout, which can also be used as heating in early/late season. This modern villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the rental of the property per week and are in pounds sterling. Price based on 8 people sharing. Extra cost for 9 or 10th person using bed settee in lounge, £10 per person per night. The minimum rental is 7 nights. Prices include a change of bed linen and cleaning service each Saturday. 20% deposit required to confirm your booking. The final balance is due 12 weeks prior to arrival day. Credit card payments are accepted.
Changeover day
All rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. This allows us time to ensure that the villa is presented to you immaculately.

The villa is thoroughly cleaned on Saturdays. For 2 week bookings only a linen change and bathroom clean will be done on the middle saturday. All bed linen and bathroom towels are included in the price. You need to provide your own pool/beach towels. |

Notes on accommodation
This beautiful, modern villa was completed in February 2007. Fully air-conditioned throughout, including all the bedrooms, although it will only be effective when doors and windows are closed. This system can be used as heating in early/late season. Once inside the villa all rooms, except 1 bedroom, are situated on 1 level, making it ideal for children. The outside terrace is enclosed with lockable gates, meaning that children cannot get to the swimming pool area. The villa is a no smoking area and no pets allowed. Don't forget to bring your laptop as we are offering free Wi-Fi, great for those teenagers who want to keep up to date on facebook!

Accessibility
Once inside the villa it is all on one level, except for 1 bedroom. However there are steps leading up to the villa, so it may not be suitable for those confined to a wheelchair. Please call or email me to discuss this in more detail.
Outside
The private pool will be the main focus once outdoors and as it is 12x4m, you can swim a decent length, or have plenty of room to splash around. The roman steps are great to relax on, while just dipping your toes in the water. The decking area has a covered pergola with a dining table and chairs, great for alfresco eating. A large gas BBQ is situated on the patio. You will find sun loungers both by the pool and on the decking area. There is a private gate leading to the woods behind, which are great for exploring. The covered arch has comfortable seating, a lovely area to sit and read or just take in the views. A unique feature of this villa is a mini golf course situated within the garden. This will keep the children entertained, while you relax and read a good book! We also provide a ping pong table for all the family to have fun!
Coast/Beach
The beach of L'Estartit is a 5 minute drive away. The beach is huge and perfect for families and couples. It is very shallow making it great for children to enjoy and the fine sand is perfect for sandcastles. As the beach is so large, you can always find a quiet spot even in high season. You can hire sun loungers and parasols and there are pedaloes to hire. You can enjoy a boat trip around the Medes islands, which are a protected nature reserve, or try snorkelling or scuba diving.
Golf
There are many great golf courses near to L'Estartit. The closest are the Emporda Golf Course at Torroella de Montgri and Golf Serres de Pals in Pals. There is even a new 18 hole pitch and putt course at Torroella de Montgri. Many people return year after year for the golfin in this area.
Special interest holidays
L'Estartit is a great resort for scuba diving. There are many diving companies that offer special packages to choose from.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Girona, which is served by Ryanair. On their website they call it "Barcelona Girona". This is a 45-60 minute drive from the villa. You can also look at flights into Barcelona with Easyjet, Jet2, British Airways or Iberia. Barcelona airport is approx 90-120 minutes drive. Car hire is not essential, but recommended. You can walk into L'Estartit in approx 20 minutes and there is a very large supermarket 10-15 minutes walk from the villa.

There is a large well stocked supermarket only 2 minutes drive away or 10 minute walk.The beautiful resort of L'Estartit is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk.
There are many places of interest in Estartit and the Costa Brava which makes it such a great location to spend your holiday. Pals and Peretallada are medieval hamlets situated on a hill only 15 minutes' drive away from Estartit.
Barcelona is a great day out which you can explore alone or as part of a tour. It takes approx 90 minutes to get there, you will be assured of a great day of history, shopping and people watching.
Booking notes
To book the villa please call or email us to check availability. If we have your dates available, the required deposit is 20% of the rental price. You can pay by credit card or by bank transfer. Full payment is required 12 weeks before arrival. Credit card details are retained to cover breakages. Once final payment is made there are no refunds so please ensure you have holiday insurance.

Just an email to thank you for all you did for us during our stay at your villa. We had a lovely time and a very relaxing holiday . Your villa is the best we have stayed in and would thoroughly reccommend it to anyone .The children especially enjoyed the pool which is an excellent size for playing games in. We all enjoyed the stunning views from every area and our favourite area was the covered alcove where we sepent most evenings soaking up the views , playing cards and consuming vast amounts of local wine . All in all we had a fabulous holiday in a fanastic villa in a superb location - we hope to return in the near future . About the owner
We have lived abroad for many years now and have rented the villa for 3 years and receive lots of repeat customers. We live in L'Estartit itself so can be on hand to help if you need us while on holiday. We have 2 young children, Dexter who is 5 and Sienna who is 2. The house is therefore very child friendly!

Why the owner chose a house / villa (old name) in this location
We bought the villa before it was even built! And were able to see it being constructed and make changes to make it perfect. The quiet location is so peaceful, but you have the convenience of the resort so closeby.
Unique benefits of the property
We enjoy living in this area because of the vast amounts of things to do. The sports on offer include golf, cycling, scuba diving, walking and sailing. For sightseeing there are lots of medieval villages and the cities of Girona and Barcelona plus the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres. The beaches in the Costa Brava are perfect too. Estartit beach is huge, long and sandy, or there are small picturesque coves around Begur, you are spoilt for choice!
