The apartments are set amidst landscaped gardens, pools, waterfalls & floral walkways. The large private balcony looks down the valley to the sea in one direction & in the other, the mountain village of Manilva & its vineyards. It is ideal for eating al fresco or just relaxing & enjoying the vistas. The complex boasts six pools, paddle tennis, underground parking & 24-hour security. Although Duquesa Village is in a peaceful location, the bustling marina of Puerto de la Duquesa is a short 5 min drive or approximately 15 min walk away, with a large selection of cafes, restaurants, bars & shops. Within easy reach are the many blue flag beaches & golf courses of the area including nearby La Duquesa Golf, then Valderama, Sotogrande & San Roque. You can also visit the famous white villages of Casares and Ronda.

| Living Rooms: | The large, bright lounge/dining area is again finished in marble and with seating and eating areas. The large sofa converts to a double bed. There is an MP3 player/radio, books, maps, guides and a selection of children's games. |
| Other: | All rooms are finished to a high standard. There is air conditioning in every room, both hot & cold. There is also a telephone entry system. Balconies run off the lounge & main bedroom & are very private. The main area has a large table and 6 chairs. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided once a week. The apartment is serviced by a management company who will provide keys etc, arrange cleaning prior to your arrival and when you depart. Please provide your own beach towels for sunbathing/swimming. |
Notes on accommodation
All rooms are air-conditioned both hot and cold. The complex is very child friendly with children’s pools and green areas. No pets are permitted in the apartment. Smoking is only permitted on terraces. Please dispose of butts appropriately.
Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the ground floor with lift access to all levels and is accessible to wheelchair users.
Outside
The complex has been built in Andalucian style with walkways, pools, waterfalls and green areas. The pools vary in size and depth to suit all abilities. The main pool is supervised by a lifeguard during the high season and toilets are available poolside. The balcony provides table and chairs for al-fresco dining and loungers to soak up the rays. The complex has lovely tropical walkways between different levels.
Coast/Beach
The marina and beaches are only a short drive from the apartment or 15 mins on foot. There is ample free parking at the beach which is rarely crowded and again lifeguards patrol all during the summer months. There are beach bars, chiringuitos, dotted along the long stretches of sand where a very welcome cold drink or lunch can be had. Water sports and pedaloes are available.
Golf
This area of the Costa del Sol boasts many golf courses of Championship standard, and those to suit all abilities. The complex is next to the La Duquesa Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones. There is also a new four star Golf Hotel and, of course, Golf Club House where you can relax on the terrace with a drink or meal. The Clubhouse offers a fully equipped wonderful spa, gym and trainer, tennis and squash facilities. There is a putting area and driving range. Top class courses such as Valdarama and San Roque are within 20 minutes drive.
Skiing
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains is available from November - March and is a 2 hour drive away.
Travel
Malaga airport is 1 hour driving distance. Jerez is approx 90 minutes - both are served by most low cost airlines. The road access is excellent being motorway most of the way. Gibraltar is 25 minutes away and is serviced by Monarch Airlines. Taxis are available from all airports but car hire highly recommended.
Distances
Duquesa marina with its many restaurants is a 5 minute drive away. Parking is free in the port and taxis are readily available. Marbella and Puerto Banus are a 25-minute drive to the east and Gibraltar is 25-minutes to the west. Inland are many white villages - Casares being only 20-minutes away. Ronda is a beautiful town built on a gorge and is well worth the hair-raising drive up through mountains - not for the faint-hearted. Granada with its winter skiing and Alhambra Palace is 2 hours.
Further details
To either side of the Marina you will find the villages of Sabinillas and Castillo. Sabinillas is larger and has shops, supermarkets, banks and a promenade boasting many restaurants. Castillo is much smaller and typically Spanish and specialises in seafood and fish restaurants. Tapas are readily available in both villages. Eastwards you will find Estepona, Puerto Banus and Marbella. Travel west and you will find Sotogrande with its Marina and world famous Polo fields, Gibraltar and further to Tarifa or even Cadiz. Choices are endless.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required on booking. Bookings will be held for 48-hours to allow organisation of flights etc. A security deposit of £100 is required on a seperate cheque that will be cashed and will be returned when the apartment has been checked after departure. Full payment is due 6-weeks before occupation.
