Cala de Finestrat is located 3km south from the lively resort of Benidorm and offers a more peaceful location with superb amenities. The beautiful sandy beach is ideal for families with young children and the resort maintains its Spanish atmosphere offering some excellent sea food restaurants, along with many shops, bars and cafes. Local attractions include Terra Mitica theme park, Mundomar, Aqualandia water park and Terra Natura nature park.

Changeover day
Changeover day may be flexible depending on other bookings. Arrival time must be during daylight hours and you will be met by the key holder. If booking airport transfer through me, the arrival time may be more flexible.

Notes on accommodation
The balcony has windows which can be closed to create an extra indoor room for sleeping in if preferred. Also, as a safety aspect for young children.
Accessibility
The entrance to the complex, building and apartment is suitable for wheelchair use with ramps where appropriate and a lift. The apartment itself is on one level and suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The grounds include a communal swimming pool (with separate small pool for young children), toilet block and shower, tennis courts, small play area, table tennis area, crazy golf area and seating area. There are trees providing shade on the grass around the pool. The grounds are private to residents only and are well looked after.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy is beach is a mere 3 minute stroll along level pavements and is fringed with bars, shops and cafes. It is a small cove, with rocks either side and is particularly suitable for families and young children. There is a small play area on the beach and shade/lounger hire available. A lifeguard is present on the beach during main holiday seasons and the beach is cleaned regularly.
Travel
Alicante airport is approximately 40 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential as buses and trains run regularly into Benidorm and connect to La Cala via bus or taxi. There is plenty of free street parking nearby if required. We can arrange airport transfers if required, at an additional cost, payable locally. Please contact me for details.
Distances
Immediately outside the apartment complex are many bars, shops and cafes catering to a variety of tastes, including an English mini supermarket. The large shopping district La Marina is a few minutes inland by car, bus or taxi, with many designer shops and restaurants, cinema and bowling and extremely large supermarket. Buses run regularly into Benidorm or if you are reasonably fit you can walk there along the coast within an hour (we've done it with our children).
Booking notes
To book, please make initial contact via telephone or e-mail.
A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure the booking and booking must be paid in full 8 weeks before start of holiday (sorry no refunds). We will also require a security/breakages deposit of £100 which will be refunded in full after the keys are returned to our agents in Spain and we receive their report that the apartment has been vacated and there have been no breakages. Any breakages must be paid for.
