The apartment is newly built and is approached from street level with no steps or lifts making it easily accessible for people with heavy luggage or golfers with equipment. Located in the lovely area of Torrequebrada, within easy walking distance of the beach and close to Benalmadena Costa. There is an excellent bus service close to the apartment which will take you to all the major towns including Furengirola, Torremolinos, Malaga and the lovely Puerta Marina which are all within a short car or bus journey and there is also a taxi rank just by the apartment. Within easy walking distance there are some excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. The apartment is also within minutes of the Tivoli World theme park, the cable car which takes you right up the mountain where you can see the whole of the Costa del Sol, Sea World at the Puerta Marina and Furengirola zoo. There are also water parks at Mijas and Torremolinos. The picturesque village of Mijas is close by.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Available: 3 night shortbreaks depending on time of year. Apartment approximately 15 minutes from Malaga Airport. If you are looking to holiday with extra friends or family it may be possible to book another apartment close by. We can also arrange pick ups from Malaga Airport to take you directly to the apartment.

Changeover day
Friday/Saturday is turnaround day, but is negotiable depending on availability and time of year.

Bedrooms: There is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes which house a safety deposit box, wall mirror and matching furnishings and patio doors which lead out onto the large terrace.
There is a twin bedded room also with fitted wardrobes and wall mirror.
Bathrooms: There is a lovely fully fitted bathroom consisting of bath, shower, bidet and WC with marbled flooring and walls.
There is also a large shower room with large walk in powerful shower, shelving unit, basin and WC with marble walls and flooring.
Kitchen: There is an excellent fully equipped separate kitchen with 4 ring hob, oven, extractor fan, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine as well as many extras.
Living Rooms: The lounge/diner is attractively furnished with a 2 seater settee, a 3 seater sofa bed, satellite TV, video recorder, a variety of videos, DVD, and CD/radio/cassette. The dining area seats up to 6 and there are patio doors leading onto the large terrace.
Other: There is a lovely large terraced area attractively decorated with colourful Spanish ceramica with sea and mountain views, and a patio set with seating for 6. There is a BBQ for anyone wanting to dine 'Al Fresco' and lounger and recliner chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, linen and tea towels are included during your stay and the apartment is cleaned after each let. However if you would like the apartment to be cleaned during your stay this can be arranged. Please let us know if you would like this service.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has air conditioning, central heating and double glazing which keeps the apartment cool in summer and warm in the winter. There are safety railings at the windows as well as a safety deposit box housed in the fitted wardrobe in the double room. Both rooms have hair dryers. There is a lovely swimming pool set within a garden environment with grassed areas, palm trees and toilets, as well as a good sized paddling pool for younger children. The beach is within easy walking distance and restaurants with terraces looking down onto the beach. The bigger beaches of Benalmadena Costa are also easily reached either by foot, bus or car. There are plenty of attractions and activities to visit all within no more than a 10/15 minute car journey. Situated within 2 minutes of the apartment there is a cafe where you can enjoy watching the world go by and just up from there is a bakery which sells freshly baked bread and also serves coffee. There are also some excellent markets to visit.

Outside
The apartment has a large terrace decorated with large colourful Spanish ceramica and with stunning sea and mountain views as well as attractive views of the palm tree lined road leading down to the beach, restaurants and new commercial centres. Included on the terrace is a BBQ if you feel like some 'Al Fresco' dining, a patio set for six and several recliner and lounger chairs so you can relax and enjoy the glorious weather. There is a lovely walkway which can also be viewed from the terrace which resembles a little white washed village and areas with seating and lighting which look like small village squares, this leads down to the swimming and paddling pools and which are housed in a garden type environment with grassed areas and palm trees, from here you can also walk down some steps which leads onto the road and is close to the bakery which is located in the commercial centre adjacent to the apartment and also leads down to the beach. There are also lifts if you don't want steps.

Coast/Beach
Within an easy walk from the apartment, there are some lovely coved beaches as well as a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes and the new commercial centres with a bakery which supplies fresh bread, pastries and savouries as well as milk, eggs and wine and some shops, hairdressers and bank. The larger beaches at Benalmadena are within easy reach by foot, car or bus and the beaches at Torremolinos and Furengirola can easily be reached by a short car or bus journey approximately 10/15 minutes.

Golf
The apartment is within a short distance of the Torrequebrada Golf course where the Spanish open has been played, and the area is served with several other excellent clubs which are all within a short distance by car.

Skiing
The apartment is approximately 2 and half hours away from the famous Sierra nevada mountains, where you can spend the day ski-ing and snow boarding, take a trip in a 'Huskie Sleigh' or just enjoy a trip in the cable car right up to the chalet style restaurant at the top of the mountain and still have time to return to the sun in the Costa del Sol the same day.

Travel
The nearest Airport is Malaga which is approx 15 minutes by car. Car hire is not essential as there are coved beaches, a variety of restaurants, bakery and a mini market within easy reach and direct bus routes, railway station at Arroya del Miel and taxis near by. However if you want to explore the white washed villages, mountain areas or want to explore the area in depth a car is recommended. Which can be hired at the airport or we have an excellent firm we can recommend.

Distances
Benalmadena Costa is approximately 15-20 minutes by foot or 2 close bus stops away. Torremolinos, the Puerta Marina and Furengirola approximately a 10/15 min. car journey and the village of Mijas is about a 20 mins by car. Marbella and Puerta Banus approx 30 mins by car. Gibraltar is about an hour away. Tivoli World, the cable car, and the market held on a Friday at Arroya del Miel are within approximately a 6 min car journey, as is Seaworld at the Puerta Marina.

Further details
There are a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance of the apartment, a Chinese/Japanese restaurant, a lovely bistro serving pasta, pizza and many other dishes, Cafelux a coffee wine bar, which has a very enjoyable happy hour, a pool table and they serve substantial, tasty and very reasonably priced snacks and tapas, all the above we can recommend. There is also an excellent Spanish restaurant which is highly patronised, and well worth a visit for a leisurely lunch with a dining terrace looking out to sea and down onto the beach and a fish restaurant next door, which is quite expensive but the place to go for a romantic meal. There is also a new French restaurant opening shortly and is located down on the beach. There are several others within the area and an excellent cafe where you can watch the world go by with a beer, coffee or something a little stronger, or enjoy a pastry and a cup of coffee at the bakery in the commercial centre adjacent to the apartment. There are two new commercial centres one next door to the apartment and the other a little further down, these consists of hairdressers, a bank, restaurants, a bakery, several business and shops and with other new enterprises set to open shortly. There is a comprehensive mini market within easy reach and the bakery also sells eggs, milk, water, wines and some spirits. The cafe which is 2 minutes from the apartment sells some English magazines, papers and cigarettes. Down in Benalmadena Costa there is a lovely walkway located on the front and with a variety of restaurants and cafes to suit everyone, there is a large stretch of golden beach and you can walk to Torremolinos or the Puerta Marina which is an up market area with a varity of shops and restaurants. Opposiste to this is the area of Solymar where you can find all the nightlife. Furengirola is a 15 min bus ride and has a great shopping Mall with many designer shops at very reasonable prices. There are several good markets to visit.

Booking notes
There is £125 holding deposit required securing the accommodation, and we regret that this is not refundable in the event of a cancellation. The deposit will also be used as security against any breakages, losses or damage incurred, and will be refunded only when the apartment has been vacated, keys returned and the apartment checked. Full payment needs to be sent 6 weeks before departure.
