Completed in 2006, this quality apartment has been fully-furnished for the owners own use as a holiday home and includes many unexpected extras for a rental property to ensure guests have all the comforts of home. Based at Vistamar Street, Cumbre Del Sol, these terraced, penthouse-style apartments are set in a hillside all having large private sun-terraces enjoying 180 degree uninterrupted seaviews. Share in this delightful experience when standing on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. There are 2 award-winning infinity pools which conform to safety standards for the enjoyment of guests. It is located in a semi-residential area situated between Javea and the stylish resort of Moraira. A little further down the coast is Calpe, Altea and then Benidorm. The apartment is situated in a quiet street with parking only for owners, enjoying security features such as a fitted alarm, intercom and outer security door with specialised locks, wreckers and shutters Welcome to our apartment!

Notes on prices
Prices are for the apartment per week in UK Pounds and based on up to 4 persons sharing. For a 5th/6th person please add £20 per person, per week. For guests staying 2 weeks please deduct £50 per stay. The prices include laundry and final clean.

Changeover day
Changeover is any day of the week so that our guests may obtain cheaper midweek flights.

Check-in time is after 4.00pm and vacating is by 10.30am, however, if you require earlier access/later departure you may ask the keyholder on arrival if possible.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with air conditioning and patio doors opening onto the large sun terrace. All furniture is fully co-ordinated and has fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds with co-ordinated furniture and fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Fully fitted bathroom, bath with overhead shower, toilet, bidet and vanity sink unit and extractor fan. Shaver point.
Kitchen: The apartment has been comprehensively fitted out with all essential quality crockery, cutlery, cooker, hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, coffee machine and toaster.
Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner and also essential household equipment. There is a clothes airer and a also a fixed expanding drying frame on the terrace.
Living Rooms: 2 double comfy bed-settees, coffee table, sideboard, expanding dining table/chairs. Includes TV, satellite TV, DVD player (DVDs), music centre (CDs), numerous games/books Aircon/heaters and mobile gas heater for cooler months. Patio doors to terrace.
Other: The apartment has substantial cupboard space in the hallway. Some cupboards contain additional items for your comfort and entertainment both in the apartment and for beach/excursions. This will minimise the items you bring to have a pleasurable holiday.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and bath towels are included and beach towels are also available if required (at no charge). For guests who stay for 2 weeks there is a linen/towel change midstay. The property is cleaned by the keyholder after the guests have vacated.

The lounge and main bedroom enjoy air con units (but they also act as heaters and for the cooler months there are additional portable heater(s) if required).
There are plenty of books and games and beach toys for both adults and children of all ages.
For indoor entertainment there are plenty of books, CDs, DVDs(some multi-lingual). numerous board games, soduko, cards, dominoes.
This is a very comfortably furnished apartment and many of our past guests have expressed their delight at the many additional extras they have enjoyed during their stay at our apartment.

Accessibility
As there are some external steps down to this apartment it may/may not be practical for disabled persons nor for anyone with small children.

Outside
The large apartment sun terrace has been furnished with comfy co-ordinated furniture. Owners and guests have exclusive access to the 2 award-winning infinity pools (non-heated, gated access only) which has sunbeds there. In addition to this guests can also use the large pool based at the Cumbre Restaurant/Pepe La Sal supermarket, free of charge. For beach use there are varied ball games including cricket set, tennis rackets together with a selection of buckets and spades. Also there are badminton rackets, frisbies, beach mats, chairs, beach brolley, cool bag and essential plastic crockery and cutlery. For the water lovers there is some snorkelling gear, childrens' fishing nets, mini-surfing boards and some floatables. Practically everything for a great holiday, all you have to do is bring yourselves!

Coast/Beach
Local beach is the beautiful, natural beach of Cala De Moraig which is approx 1.5km. The area has underwater caves so is well known to divers. Within a few minutes drive is the child friendly beaches of Moraira (5km) and also the beautiful beaches at the Arenal in Javea (8km).
The whole area is a natural beautiful coastline and considered to be one of the prettiest areas of Costa Blanca. There are various coastal walks including the national parks which are based at Cumbre Del Sol and Montgo.

Golf
There are various golf courses located in the region within a 10-30 minutes range. 18 hole at Javea and 9 hole at Calpe - 5 and 20 minutes away respectively. 18 hole at the Marriott at Denia - 20 minutes approx. Just North of Denia, near Oliva is the Club de Golf Oliva Nova, this course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and has been judged to be the best designed of all his courses. Altea Hills approx 20 minutes. Finestrat - Benidorm approx 30 minutes.

Travel
Alicante Airport is approx 1hr 10 minutes away(110km) and Valencia approx 1hr 20 min.
Both have numerous car hire companies available at the airport and a car is essential. Centauro, Record, Auriga, Hertz, Europe Car and Avis are based at either of these airports
Many airlines fly to these airports from many airports particularly within the UK. Consider BMI Baby, Easyjet, Thomsonfly and Monarch
For those guests touring there are regular ferries from nearby Denia to the Balerics.

Distances
Benitachell is an old Spanish town, approx 1.5km. Moraira, originally a fishing village is 5km away, is very modern, clean, low rise and beautiful harbour. Calpe with the 300m high Rock de Ifach is about 20 minutes away and Altea a little further on the pretty old coastal road. Quicker access can be via the motorway. To the north is Javea(8km) with its' lovely child-friendly beaches and old port area. Many of these places have festivities throughout the year and you are welcome to join in.

Further details
The coastline is of natural beauty which has avoid mass development and high rise properties. There are numerous quality supermarkets in the area for self-catering and there is an ATM and pharmacy at Cumbre Del Sol. As the area is semi-residential there are numerous restaurants in the region to dine at even in the winter months. The 'Menu el dia' is exceptionally good value ranging from 10-20 euros for 3/4 course dinners which may even include coffee/wine. The apartment contains many maps and information leaflets to assist you. The 'Rock de Ifach' at Calpe is a national park and the "fittest" can climb to the top. The old town of Altea is traditionally Spanish and a visit to Guadalest is a must, having to pass through a cutting in the cliff face to enter the old village. Nearby is the pretty Font's Algar. Benidorm is further along the coast with its' beautiful beaches where you can find attractions there such as Terra Mitica and and Mundomar Sea World. Enjoy a drive along the scenic route along the Jalon Valley and visit Gata de Gorges famed for wickerwork. Take time out to explore the little villages en route, you never know you might surprise yourself! There are many attractions in the area including golf courses, a safari park, Aqualanda,tennis, horseriding, go karting, bowling, diving, water sports, coastal and fishing trips. There are also ferries from Denia to the Baleric Islands most days of the week. The local markets are also worth visiting. Enjoy walking in the National Park at Cumbre Del Sol or along the coastline and also walking in Montgo National Park. Many of these old towns celebrate the Moors and Christians festivals and the "running of the bulls" throughout the year. The Spanish people are very warm and friendly and welcome you to their celebrations. Further afield, why not visit the beautiful city of Valencia just over an hour north. The recent host of the European stage of the formula one racing and the Americas Cup.

Non-refundable deposit of £100 is required then the balance 8 weeks prior to departure together with a refundable damages/breakages deposit of £100 (refundable subject to keyholder checking after vacating apartment). If bookings are from overseas the deposit must be paid in full, i.e no bank charges deducted. Cancellation policy - prior to departure.
up to 8 weeks: non-refundable deposit only. 4-8 weeks: 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks: 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks: no refund.
