Casa Pinnaroo is located in Pinares De San Anton only 7km from Malaga City Centre. Set in a national park of San Anton you are perfectly positioned for both a city break or a quiet country retreat. Immerse in the culture of Malagas numerous museums and indulge in its wealth of restaurants or just lie by the pool and rest. Even the beach is only a 5 minute drive away in historic El Palo fishing district. You can walk the mountains of San Anton in the morning, retrace Picassos life in the afternoon and party in the city by night, all from Casa Pinnaroo. In winter even the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are only 1.5 hrs drive away. It is comprised of 2 houses connected by a central courtyard in traditional Spanish style. The pool is 13m in length, acclimatised and totally private. Family friendly, furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard with balconies and terraces giving views as far as Africa. There is private parking for 3 cars and plenty of gardens to relax in.

Changeover day
We aim to be as flexible as possible on changeover day but do require that you vacate the property by 10am on departure and check in no earlier than 4pm. Late check-ins can easily be accommodated.

Notes on accommodation
Casa Pinnaroo welcomes families and children of all ages. There are toys in the playroom, pool toys for the pool and a 14ft trampoline in the garden. We would however caution supervision on the trampoline at all times. There are some lovely walks from the house and you can even, with young children, easily walk to the top of San Anton for a spectacular view of Malaga and surrounding mountains. The garden has extensive space for children to play and adventures to be had. Babysitting can be provided with bi-lingual sitters. Superb care for your children (English, Spanish and German). Payment direct to the sitter.

Accessibility
A car is necessary but access is by normal tarmac road. Alternatively a taxi from Malaga airport is approx 20 euro. Taxi from El Palo/beach/market 5 euros and from the city centre approx 12-15 euro. Buses run from El Palo regularly to Malaga centre from approx 1-2 euros.
Outside
Pinnaroo is set on 1650sq.m of land with olive, almond, Nisperos, Kumquat, Pomegranate and Fig trees. The tiled swimming pool is 13m in length and in summer, climatised by a solar pool cover. Terracotta tiled terraces surround the property with numerous choices for dining. Courtyard dining with retractable sunshade and outdoor kitchen and BBQ. Dining table by the pool or on the main terrace lining the main living room with sea views. Sun loungers are provided by the pool and relaxing chairs are on the main covered terrace for quiet reading. Small children would need supervision by the pool and on the trampoline, both of which are used at your own risk.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of El Palo and Pedragalejo are only a 5 minute drive away. Lined with traditional BBQ fish restaurants throughout the entire length they are not to be missed. If you fancy a bit of exercise before lunch it will take you about 40 minutes to walk there but only 5 euros by taxi back!
Golf
Costa Del Sol or Costa Del Golf as it is becoming affectionately known! Many courses are within close distance. The nearest are Club de Golf El Candado (less than 10 minutes away) and Anoreta Golf Club. Ranging 30 minutes-1 hour away are even more courses to the west of Malaga.
Skiing
Skiing in the Sierra Nevada by Granada is only 1.5 hours away door to door.

We can arrange soap and/or essential oil making classes privately by request. Meet and greet at the airport and babysitting services also available.
Travel
A car is essential. Malaga airport is just 15 minutes away.
Distances
Malaga centre is only 10 minutes by car, approx 7km in distance. El Palo, where the nearest shops, markets and beaches are is less than 5 minutes by car.
The nearest restaurant 'Pino Rojo' is a 2 minute walk and open 5 days per week. Nearest hypermarket at Totalan is a 10 min drive. For rural walks just exit by the door and turn left!
Further details
All major banks and shops can be found in Malaga centre. However you don't even need to go that far as El Palo has all everything you need. 6 days a week the market is open from 8-2pm with the best range of fresh fish, meats, fruit and veg you could desire. Eating out is wonderfully cheap and the food superb. The beaches every day in the summer and at weekends through the winter are a hive of activity for lunch with fresh fish cooked traditionally on barbacoas on the sand. With Malaga competing for the 'European City of Culture 2016', there is hardly a week goes by without some celebration or festival in the city.
