The secluded garden with several palm trees, olive trees and Mulberry tree is very private and is available for guests use. We have 2 gas barbecues and also 1 charcoal one, situated on a side terrace by the pool. The bungalow has patio doors leading onto a private and secluded patio, which has sun loungers, mats and table and chairs. There are also tables and seats at the front of the bungalow, and in various other locations round the gardens. The pool is completely private and is used by our guests and us solely.

Bedrooms: First bedroom contains a king size bed.
Second bedroom contains twin beds.
Child's cot available on request.
Bathrooms: The bathroom has a walk in shower, and the usual amenities.
Kitchen: The kitchen which overlooks open fields, has a full oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, and kettle.
Living Rooms: The good sized living room, free to view satellite TV, CD, DVD, video players. Selection of these, plus books and games for guests use. Air conditioning unit, which is an optional extra at the cost of electricity used, is located here.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and bath towels are provided and are changed weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
Optional air-conditioning is available, at a charge of the electricity usage. Iron and ironing board and washing machine are available on request. Home cooked evening meals are available, with 24 hours notice. A menu is available inside the accommodation.

Accessibility
The accomodation has 5 steps up to the door, therefore, it is not really wheelchair friendly.

Outside
There are several sun loungers located around the property, and a swinging hammock and swinging seat under the mulberry tree in the garden. We have a large collection of indoor and outdoor games available for guests, including, pub darts, dominoes, boulles, outdoor Jenga, horseshoe pitching, swing ball, Badminton and many, many others. There is a wendy house and children's ride on toys, etc and a sand pit for the younger children.
However, if all you want is a quiet relaxing vacation, then the gardens are ideal.

Coast/Beach
We are located approximately 20 minutes by car from the Costa del Sol coast.

Golf
Alhaurin Golf, Mijas Golf and Laura Golf Clubs are all within a 10k radius.

Travel
Location is 15-20 minutes drive from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes from Torremolinos, then Benalmadena, Fuengirola etc. Car hire is advisable, but for guests who prefer not to drive, we can offer a taxi service, to the village or beyond on request. In the village you can travel by bus or rail, into Malaga and beyond along the coast
or inland.

Distances
We are few minutes drive from Estacion De Cartama, which has lots of banks, shops, bars and restaurants, and a lively market on Fridays and Sundays. The village is a flat 30 minutes walk away, and we also have 2 adult road bikes which guests can use to ride down the road to the village. A new Mercadonna is situated in the village, which means shopping for essentials, is even easier.

Further details
Places of interest in the area include, El Chorro and the Lakes, Rhonda, Granada, Gibraltar, I could go on. Locally there is a new riding centre which has just opened 2 miles up the main Pizarra road. Aqualand, Tivola World, Sealife centre and Wolf park are all within easy reach also. We are ideally situated for walkers, cyclists, artists, or even bird watchers.

Booking notes
Enquiries when possible via email please. A deposit of £80 per week is payable upon booking and the balance due 8 weeks before travel. We will also do short lets for weekends and long winter lets, or 1 night specials for the airport to return home. For further information or more photo's please email.

Guest comments
The holiday was just what we were looking for, in the sense that it was quiet and restful with all that we were requiring.Whilst there we both had a very nice relaxing back massage (from Dave), which we would really recommend. Had a brilliant 2 weeks at Casa Del Sun. Carol and Dave made us very welcome as always. Weather very hot. Thank goodness for the pool, the boys really had a fantastic time. They enjoyed playing with the dogs, who tired the children out nicely in the evening. The local village had everything that we needed to make our holiday so peaceful and relaxing, whilst being close enough for a nice meal or a pleasant drink with the locals. Thanks for everything, really loved the peace and quiet of the gardens and pool. and the location was ideal for everything. Yet again a wonderful relaxing holiday. Enjoyed our cards and dominoes games evenings, good conversation and the odd drink!!. Don't want to go home. Hope to be back soon.
