The gardens of the property have a large pagoda with comfortable seating, providing a welcome shade in the heat of the day. There are also sun loungers and an outdoor table and chairs with barbecue for outdoor eating, and the most breathtaking mountain scenery. There are arbours of grapevines and guests can help themselves to fruit of the season from the finca. It is ideally located for active walkers, artists, or birdwatchers. However, I think that many people find it too hot in July and August for walking, the Spring and Autumn being a better climate for this. Located 6km from the village of Santa Rosalea and then Cartama Estacion, which both have an abundance of shops, banks, bars and restaurants and a local Friday market. Car hire is essential due to its location accessed by a rough rural road.

In the spacious gardens there is a barbecue, sun loungers, eating areas with table and chairs, and a plunge pool ideal just to cool off. It is a lovely out of the way location, ideal for people who just want to be in a peaceful setting.
Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol beaches of Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola are within 30 minutes drive of the location.
Travel
Nearest airport is Malaga, 25 minutes away. Car hire essential.
Distances
There are plenty of interesting places to visit in this area, all within approximately one to one and a half hours drive. These include the Lakes Of El Chorro, Rhonda, Granada, Nerja, Gibraltar, and many others.
