Almerimar is a relatively new and very attractive holiday destination. Located 46km west of Almeria and 180km east of Malaga, Almerimar enjoys sunshine 320 days a year! With one of the largest marinas in southern Spain its long sandy beaches and watersports provide a backdrop for its many authentic tapas bars and restaurants. There are several golf courses in the area including the recently refurbished 27 hole Almerimar Golf, and a nature reserve on your doorstep. There are miles of well kept promenades for those who enjoy walking or cycling. During the winter months you can drive to the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada mountains and there is a Western theme park and zoo, water park, go-karting and aquarium all within driving distance.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in Euros. A 20% deposit will be required on booking with the full amount due 4 weeks prior to occupancy. A refundable security bond of 100 euros is also required.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is air conditioned, serviced by a lift to apartment and down to allocated underground parking and camera entry security. There is a children's pool, play area and paddle tennis court. Pools are accessed using swipe cards via private gates. Use of fitness room, gym, sauna, steam room, power shower, indoor exercise pool and Jacuzzi is included.

Accessibility
The apartment can be accessed via a lift from the underground car park to the door.
Outside
The complex has superb gardens planted with exotic plants. The pools are shared but are rarely busy. Sun loungers and thatched umbrellas are provided. At poolside there are several showers. Food and drink are not allowed in the pool area. A waterfall into the top pool is turned on at certain times of the day. The outdoor Jacuzzi is on all the time.
Coast/Beach
The beach is 5 minutes away by car about 15 minutes if walking.
Golf
The complex overlooks the Almerimar golf course where day membership can be purchased. The course has recently been improved and a new clubhouse is being constructed. There are several other course in close proximity such as the La Serena course at Roquetas.
Travel
The apartment is a 45 minute drive from Almeria airport or 3 hours from Malaga down the Routa de Mediterranea.
Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The harbour is a 10 minute drive away. Roquetas de Mar is the next big town a 25 minute drive and is a large lively holiday resort with lovely beaches. There is a nature reserve the Punta Entinas within walking distance and the Cabo de Gata nature reserve is a short drive. There are water parks and theme parks within driving distance.
Further details
Almerimar town and marina is a 25 minute walk away though there is a shop for essentials just next to the complex. there is a supermarket in the harbour and a shopping mall at the top of the hill a 10 minute drive away which includes a food hall, eateries and a go-kart track.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit will be required on booking and the balance needs to be paid at least 4 weeks prior to departure.
A 100 euro security deposit is required at time of payment of balance. This will be returned within a week after holiday end.
Please provide details of arrival time as accurately as possible and any requirements for basic provisions.
Airport pickup is also available.
