The apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and back terrace suitable as drying area,large living area, large south facing terrace which overlooks the pool,& the sea also large undercover terrace as well for relaxing. There is an underground car park which has its own designated parking bay for each apartment and even though the apartment is ground floor it has a lift to take those heavy cases from the car and passengers up to the apartment. It has both hot and cold air-conditioning. The complex has 24 hour security and is in a gated community. There is also a tennis court on the complex but you will need to bring your own equipment for this. Dequesa golf course is less than a five minute walk away. Situated within a short walk down the hill to Dequesa Port and to the beaches which stretch either side of the port. Port has many restaurants and bars and is set in a beautiful marina. There are beach bars and children’s play areas. Sabillinas is a short walk from the port.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom has double bed, 2 double wardrobes and en-suite.
Bedroom 2 and 3 have twin beds also large wardrobes and bedside cabinets.
Can add 'put you up beds' and cots if required.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom has large shower, toilet and his and hers sinks.
Family bathroom has large shower, toilet and sink.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. It has ceramic hob with 4 rings, full oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
Living Rooms: The living area is very large it consists of a 6 seater dining room table and chairs sideboard down the other end is a large corner unit sofa. We have satellite TV and a DVD player for entertainment. From the living room are patio doors to the terrace.
Other: The terrace is south facing and has has beautiful views of the communal pool and gardens and the sea, it is a large L shape with 2 sun loungers 6 seater patio set and round the corner, we have a 3 seater and 2 seater wicker suite for your enjoyment.

Notes on accommodation
We consider this a child friendly apartment, we have floatables for the pool, and a few toys and games for the children. Ashtrays are provided but we ask only to smoke on terraces and not in the apartment.No stipulation on arrival day
as often flights to spain work out cheaper to fly mid week.I would advise to book flights as early as you can to get them cheaper.

Outside
There is a large pool. There are sunbeds round the pool for your use. The gardens of the complex are beautifully kept. There is also a paddle court and a barbecue area on the complex.

Coast/Beach
It is a short walk down hill to the beautiful beaches that are left and right of the port of Duquesa. They have beach bars on the beach and also children's play areas.In the town of sabinillas just a short walk from the port there is a lovely childrens play area.

La Duquesa Golf & Country Club - Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr (5 mins).
Sotogrande Golf Club - Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this is ranked amongst the top ten courses in Europe (15 mins).
Estepona Golf Club - Designed by Jose Luis Lopez Martinez, the course has short narrow fairways with extremely dangerous roughs. (15 mins).
Alcaidesa Links Golf Club - Designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clark, this course is considered to be the first authentic 'link' type course in Spain. (15 mins).
Alhaurin Golf & Country Club - Designed by Seve Ballasteros, this rugged terrain and breathtaking course to play and a challenging game with its fairways, bunkers and lakes. (30 mins).
Valderrama Golf Club - Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this is perhaps the most famous golf course in Europe and is designed for players with a reasonable to high level of play (20 mins).

Travel
We would recommend to hire a car as there is so much to see in this area. Gibraltar is your nearest airport of 15 mins but Malaga Airport is 50 minutes away.Transfers can be arranged for you on request.

Distances
Sabinillas is a lovely Spanish town next door to Duquesa. You also have Estapona, Marbella, San Pedro, Gibraltar, Sotogrande and many more places to visit.

Further details
There is a local market on a Friday in Sabinillas and a large Sunday market. You can take boat trips from the marina, visit Selwo Aventura, Tivoli world, Fuengirola Zoo, there is also a water park not to far away.There are bars, restaurants and a shop for essentials (tea coffee milk etc) within 5 mins walk from the complex this is known as the courtyard, a further 5 min walk will take you in to Duquesa port where you will find a large selection of bars, resturants with a variety of dishes to choose from (Italian, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, English and Mexican). A small supermarket, taxi rank, bank, tourist information for local activities and places of interest to go to. A 10 min walk along the promenade will take you into Sabinillas where there are larger supermarkets, chemist, Parks, bars and more restaurants etc.

Booking notes
A holding deposit of £150 is paid upon booking, final balance is due 8 weeks prior to your departure. If the calendar looks fully booked do still get in touch as we do have cancellations. I have several friends that also rent there apartments on this complex so we can sleep up to 30 people between us.
