Large terrace with barbecue and dining area, covered balcony and further patio area. The apartment is fully equipped with everything required to ensure satisfaction. Just a short walk or local bus to Torrox Costa, with its extensive beaches and paved promenade, where over 100 restaurants, children's play areas and a range of water sports facilities are available. The pretty bustling town of Nerja, with its excellent beaches, good range of shops, restaurants and bars is just five minutes drive away. Golf courses, water parks and other attractions are within easy reach and the Sierra Nevada, offering skiing facilities, is less than a 90 minute drive away. Renowned for its unrivalled climate, the locality offers opportunities for walking, more sporting activities, or just relaxing. Details of local car-hire can be provided if required. Airport pick-up can be arranged.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday; arrival and departure times are flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning/heating units are being installed in both bedrooms in November '08. A selection of videos, books, games and sun loungers are available. There is a hair dryer provided in each bedroom. Passes for swimming pool and tennis court key are provided. Sorry, no pets and no smoking in the apartment, or on the covered terrace.
Accessibility
The apartment is accessed via two sets of steps and hence would be unsuitable for less mobile elderly or disabled people. There is a gate at the top of the upper steps.
Outside
The apartment has a pleasant garden, with washing lines at the rear. There is a large lower terrace with barbecue, stone dining table and benches (seats 10), providing plenty of space for relaxing evenings. There is also a separate, more private patio area to the side of the villa which has a table and chairs. Four sun loungers are also provided. A large, well-maintained communal swimming pool and tennis courts surrounded by gardens are directly in front of the villa. Ample parking is available outside the villa. The expansive views towards the Sierra Almijara Mountains from the terraces and balcony are superb and provide ample opportunity to enjoy the glorious sunsets.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach, with several beach-side bars and restaurants, can be reached in three minutes by car, a 15-minute walk, or local bus service. Torrox Costa has numerous restaurants, comprehensive water sports facilities and children's facilities. There are many other superb beaches to choose from along the coast road towards Nerja.
Golf
Andalucia is renowned for its top golf courses and the unique climate allows golf to be enjoyed all-year-round. There are more than 50 golf courses in Andalucia and the excellent Baviera Golf Course is 10 minutes drive away from the villa.

Road cycles and mountain bikes are also available for hire and all guided activities can be tailored to suit your exact requirements.
Travel
Malaga Airport is a 40 minute drive away and airport pick-up can be arranged on request. Details of car hire can be provided but for those not wishing to take up this option, transportation to the pretty Andalucian 'white villages' of the Almijara Mountains, or trips further afield to cultural cities such as Granada, Seville and Cordoba can be provided by prior arrangement.

Nerja 6km; the splendid caves at Maro 10km; Torrox Pueblo 2km; Torre del Mar 12km; Frigiliana 9km; Granada 130km; Gibraltar 180km. Coach trips are often available locally.
Further details
Within three minutes walk from the villa there are two small supermarkets, a hairdressing salon, a launderette and a selection of bars/restaurants. A selection of banks, larger supermarkets, post office and numerous shops can be found at Torrox Costa, which is a short walk or five minutes drive away. In less than 90 minutes, the Sierra Nevada can be reached by car, where there are excellent skiing facilities during winter months through to May. With the unique regional climate, it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon. Details of local horse riding and art classes can be provided on request.
Booking notes
There is a 30% non-returnable deposit required, with the balance payable on arrival. A £100 returnable security fee is payable with the balance and this is refunded following the return of the apartment keys. Any breakages will be deducted from the security fee.
