There is garage space for 1 car and ample roadside parking. Ideal location for exploring the unique unspoilt area of Catalunya with its abundance of coves and sandy beaches. Locally there are coastal walks and countryside trails, historic towns and numerous sporting activities to enjoy, Club Golf D'Aro - Mas Nou is less than 15 mins drive. The historic city of Girona is only 40 mins drive and cities of Barcelona and Perpignan are within easy reach.

Changeover day is flexible with arrival after 5pm and departure by 11am. Our agents will meet you on arrival to show you around the villa, demonstrate how everything works & leave a welcome pack to ensure a good start to your holiday.

Utility Room: Modern boiler supplying constant hot water on demand and central heating for winter bookings. Washing machine and tumble dryer.
Living Rooms: Spacious open plan living/dining area has comfortable sofa seating for 6 people and breakfast area off the kitchen. There is a working fire place and CD player/radio.
Other: Separate TV lounge with DVD player. Large conservatory set for formal dining, seats 6 comfortably with double patio doors to the pool area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. The villa is cleaned and linen changed before and after your stay, but mid term cleaning and linen change can be arranged for a reasonable additional fee.

The villa is cool in the heat of the summer and has central heating and an open fire for the cooler winter months, so is ideal for rental all year round.

Outside
The landscaped gardens extend around the villa providing areas of sun and shade. There are sun loungers for six people and the outside eating area can accommodate 8 people comfortably. There is a brick built BBQ and ample outside lighting including underwater pool illumination. The kidney shaped pool has Roman steps at the shallow end increasing to a depth of approx 6ft.

Coast/Beach
The local beach at St Antoni is approx 5 mins drive. This is a long sandy beach with a promenade that stretches all the way to Palamos, a 40 min walk. Within 15 mins drive south is the beautiful beach at S'Agaro and 15mins drive north are the picturesque resorts of Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell.

Golf
There are 8 golf courses in the area. The nearest is Club Golf D'Aro - Mas Nou less than 15 mins drive away. The most prestigious is the PGA Golf de Catalunya situated near Girona airport.

Travel
The nearest airports are Girona (40 mins), Barcelona (90 mins) and Perpignan (90 mins). All these airports are served by low cost airlines and have the major car hire companies at their terminals. The hire of a car is recommended.

Distances
The local village of Calonge is less than 2km away. Palamos 6km, Platja d'Aro 9km, San Feliu 11km, La Bisbal 25km, Girona 40km and Barcelona 100km.

Further details
Calonge is an old, traditional village with its own castle and all the usual amenities, butchers, fresh vegetables, bakers, cash machine, supermarkets and chemist etc. St Antoni has a very good weekly street market. The town of Platja D'Aro has many shops and along with Palamos there are most water sports available, including diving, sailing, windsurfing etc. There is also a large water park at Platja D'Aro.

Booking notes
Price is for the villa per week and is based on a maximum occupancy of 6 people. A 20% non-refundable deposit to be paid on booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable security deposit of £150 payable with the final balance. This deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days of your return minus the cost of any breakages. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Sorry but no pets or smoking.
