Bath towels and beach towels included. Cotton sheets are changed once a week. Extra cleaning and a meal service can be arranged. NB: access by English couple to pool cleaning is through the house once a week (unless condition of pool requires more). |

Due to position of pool and spiral stairs to roof, this property is not suitable for young children, the elderly or infirm.

Accessibility
This property is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Outside
1.5 metre deep pool with water-spout in its own pretty 'Moroccan' patio (very unusual for a village house). Built-in charcoal BBQ on 3rd floor terrace. Roof top terrace has shady awning too, shower and power point.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Torre del Mar and nearby coastal towns are only 25 minutes away and feature many delicious 'chiringuitos' where sun loungers are often available. Nerja to the east and Malaga to the west are within easy reach.
Travel
Malaga airport is about 61km away, taking between 1 hr15 and 1hr.30 depending on time of day. Car hire is essential - I recommend malaga-car.com
Distances
Canillas centre is 2 minutes walk, downhill! The 20 minute drive down to Velez-Malaga, the nearest main town is a very pleasant, scenic route on a newly-done road. The old town is worth visiting but parking can be difficult. Wonderful villages to visit include, Camares, Competa, Frigiliana and many more (Lots of information in house).
Further details
The major hiking route to La Maroma mountain in the National Nature Reserve starts right behind the house; or more leisurely walks can be made taking the in-house picnic basket!
Wildlife, bird-watching, painting, photography, wine-tasting, exploring the wonderful villages around this area. Canillas de Aceituno has many small shops, no supermarket and many bars plus some very good-value regional restaurants. The fiestas in April and August are famous!
Booking notes
25% deposit on booking. Damage deposit £200 with full payment due 4 weeks prior to holiday date, if possible. Air-conditioning and underfloor heating carry a reasonable surcharge, currently approx £20 per week on the basis of 4 people in house.
Sofabed for 2 (limited clothes storage and no curtains) with surcharge of £50. Please discuss your long or short letting terms with the owner. Extra cleaning/cooking between client and service provider (Information given by owner).
