This newly furnished, family owned apartment built in 2006 is situated on the secure private community complex of Al Andalus Hills near Vera Playa. With just 150 properties, the complex has a large outdoor pool and small children's pool set in beautiful gardens, an indoor pool, children's play area and private covered parking. This tastefully decorated first floor apartment has a double room with en-suite, a twin room, a second bathroom, a large living room with dining area, balcony, and fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The nearest beach is only 10 mins walk, with numerous others within a short drive. Supermarket, restaurants and aqua park only 5 mins walk. A highlight of the day is watching the sun set over the distant mountains from the balcony.

Outside
The apartment has a large balcony with table and chairs. Within the complex there is a well-maintained shared outdoor pool and a small children's pool, available May-September. A heated indoor pool with changing facilities is available October-April. The children's play area in the grounds of the complex has swings and a slide. There is a larger play area just outside the complex.
Coast/Beach
The blue flag beach of Vera Playa is the nearest beach, just 10 mins walk away. It would be easy to visit a different beach on every day of your holiday as there are lots of others within a short drive, ranging from small coves to large beaches. Many of them have blue flag status, with lifeguards, toilets and showers during the summer months.
Golf
Desert Springs in Palomares, 10 mins drive, is 6179m, par 72. Marina de la Torre near Mojacar, 15 mins drive, is 18 holes (mixture of flat and hills) 5700m, par 72. El Cortijo Grande, near Turre (10 mins) is being renovated but runs open competitions on Sunday and Wednesday mornings for non-members.
Travel
Almeria airport is only 50 mins away by car. Murcia San Javier is 1 hour 15 mins drive on the new AP7 motorway. Both airports are served by budget airlines from most UK airports.
To really get the most from the area, we would highly recommend that you book a hire car for the duration of your stay.
Distances
The traditional fishing village of Garrucha is just 10 mins by car. The nearest supermarket, restaurants and the aqua park are all only 5/10 mins walk. 15 mins away by car, Mojacar Playa offers the full range of holiday facilities, and the traditional village of Mojacar Pueblo has a lovely selection of small shops. The larger town of Vera is only 10 minutes away.
Further details
The Cabo de Gato National Park, 40 minutes by car, is ideal for those keen to do some hiking. From Sorbas, head in to the desert to find traditional Spanish craft towns, 20 minutes away. Or take the coast road north to San Juan de Los Terreros 30 mins away for fantastic beaches and beach-side restaurants. 10 mins further on is the larger town of Aguilas. There are local markets virtually every day of the week.
Booking notes
Full payment is required by cheque 8 weeks prior to your date of travel.
We also ask for an additional £100 cheque as a damages deposit, payable at the time of booking which we will return to you after your stay.
