Situated in a fabulous position on a very picturesque and secluded beach. This brand new, private gated community boasts a lovely communal pool with baby pool and communal gardens. Our triplex has a secure parking bay and is end of terrace, conveniently right next to the pool (great for keeping an eye on the kids). The sea views from the sun terrace are stunning and you can see all along the coast. It is peaceful, yet you are only 5 minutes away from San Juan, with all its shops, restaurants and superb beach bars (take a bucket and spade!) and 20 min from Mojacar. For golfers there is the 'must play' Desert Springs just 10 min away plus Valle del Este, Cortijo Grande, Aguilon (100 bunkers!), Balai and Marina Golf, Mojacar. For kids of all ages there is the Aqua Park close by in Vera Playa or a bit further away the Wild West Show where they filmed the Spaghetti Westerns. All in all, a great location for both relaxing family holidays and golfing trips.

Notes on accommodation
Ceiling fans in all rooms (we prefer this to air conditioning). Hair dryer and fold out clothes dryer. Meet and greet service and welcome pack available if required.

Outside
Ground floor patio with table, chairs with parasol, separate sun loungers furniture and sea views. Private secure parking. Large sun terrace on roof with stunning views. Sun terrace to master bedroom also with sea views. Situated next to communal pool/outside showers with very easy access.

Coast/Beach
Frontline location - 20m to beach! (Virtually step out onto it!). The beach is picturesque, a mix of sand and shale with rock pools, easily accessible for swimming. Nice and quiet. Lovely views along the coastline. San Juan is 5 mins away, which is livelier with regular sand and beach bars! The coastal road to and from Vera Playa is really stunning, with viewing points dotted along it, where you can stop the car and take it all in. It is hard to keep your eyes on the road!

Golf
Desert Springs. 10 mins. Spanish home of the English Golf Union and first desert course in Europe. Like playing in Arizona! Aguilon. 15 mins. Spectacular with 100 bunkers, 6 lakes and natural ravines (take plenty of spare balls!). Marina Golf. 20 mins. Course of two halves, you'll remember the par 5 4th hole. Valle del Este. 15 mins. Spectacular and picturesque with nearly every tee elevated and wide fairways. Plenty of other top courses within an hour's drive.

Skiing
Ski the world class slopes of the Sierra Nevada ski resort - approx 2hours drive.

Travel
Both Almeria and Murcia airports are just under an hour's drive with Alicante approx 2 hours. The new Murcia airport is due to be finished soon and will be closer still. All main roads are generally very clear. A car is recommended.

Distances
San Juan de los Terreros is 5 mins by car. Mojacar is 20 mins.
Vera Playa 15 mins. Garrucha 10 mins.

Further details
Thee local restaurants within walking distance. Great paella, very cheap! One local store. Main shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks etc in San Juan, Vera Playa or Garrucha.

Booking notes
15% non-refundable deposit required upon booking with balance being due four weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £150 is required in case of damage which will be returned within 3 days of returning home.

About the owner
I live in Surrey with my wife and three children (well, two of them are taller than me!). I run my own business along with my wife and brother. My hobbies include music and sport. Years ago, music was more than a hobby, as I played in a professional band for five or six years. I pretty much stick to golf these days, with the odd 'gig' now and again (very odd actually!) and as I obviously don't know much about football, I support Crystal Palace!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Location,Location and Location. The three elements that make a property desirable. Our property ticked all three boxes for us. Right on the beach (very private). Fantastic views - the amazing coastal road coming from the Almeria direction sold it to us before we even got there! Swimming pool right next to it. Peaceful yet close to San Juan. Nature reserve next to the complex, so no more building allowed. Unspoilt yet great for kids (very safe) with water park not far away. The golf's excellent and nearby. What more do you want?

Unique benefits of the property
All mod cons in the villa and sunbathing all day on the roof terrace along with ground floor and master bedroom terraces, so there's no excuse for not coming back with a decent tan! Spacious, with both TV and DVD player (we've left several decent dvd's and books there for you - the kids like it and sometimes it's good to watch a movie with a glass or two in the evening if you can't be bothered to go out).
