Brazos Abiertos luxury Casa Rural is available for exclusive rental for a family/group. If you want to spend lazy days around the pool (heated all year round) and still be in a great location to visit some of the worlds best historical sites then this is the place for you! We are located on a beautiful 5 acre olive grove nestled among the rolling hills of the Sierra Subbetica Park with a view 'to die for' and are only 5 minutes from Andalucía's largest lake - the Embalse de Iznájar. Sitting on top of the hill above the lake is the beautiful white village of Iznajar. If you want to keep up to date with, local stories and follow the completion of Brazos Abiertos just read our blog through our website. We have four luxury rooms (each can accommodate 2 people) with beautiful bathrooms. We are open all year round. Notes on prices
For groups who would like to rent the entire Casa Rural we can offer the following options, 1. Self catering. 2. We can cater for your group, this means that meals and drinks will be extra. The owners live on site and will be available should you need any information etc.

Notes on accommodation
Brazos Abiertos Hotel/Casa Rural will be opening in April 2009, just in time for the fabulous Easter parades in Iznajar and other local towns. We are open for Christmas and New Year holidays 2009. The hotel has full central heating so you can enjoy a wonderful winter break in Andalucia. The swimming pool will be heated all year round and the hot tub will be a great place to unwind after a days sightseeing. The hotel is nearing completion and we are happy to share information on our progress, including photos. Between now and our opening in April we will be decorating and dressing the Hotel to a luxurious standard. All rooms have two windows. This means that you will have views of the olive grove and the internal courtyard.
Accessibility
The whole Hotel is accessible for wheelchair users. Bathrooms are wet rooms with roll in showers. The swimming pool is heated all year round and has a hoist. All doors are 95 cm wide. We can cater for special diets.
Outside
We have a fully accessible heated swimming pool, which will enable our guests to swim all year round. In addition why not try the hot tub: perfect for relaxing on a starry night. In the evening you can relax on the terrace before enjoying a beautiful three course meal. The sun terraces have ample furniture and an Arabian style cabana provides the shade and privacy for an optional range of health and beauty treatments. The courtyard has a range of flowers and plants and a gently tinkling fountain.
Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol with its many beaches is just an hour's drive away.
Golf
Nearest golf course is in Antequera (45 minute drive).
Special interest holidays
We are able to provide corporate weeks on request. In addition the hotel is a great place for groups who wish to share an activity, such as: bird watching, bridge, book clubs, cycling and walking. The hotel is a great location for a group who want to relax and enjoy themselves with pamper treatments, perhaps spending a special day or birthday with us.

Our nearest airports are either Granada or Málaga – both around an hour away depending on traffic.

Iznajar is just 4km away, Rute with a good range of shops is 15 minutes drive.
Further details
There are numerous world famous historic sites and museums including the unique Mosque in Córdoba city itself (The Mezquita) to the suggested Wonder of the World that is the Alhambra Palace in Granada to Flamenco Nights in Córdoba's Ancient Quarter, or a bullfight in Seville. There is a never ending selection of Exhibitions, Fiestas and Galleries, fierce and dramatic scenery together with the largest Nativity Scene hand made out of Chocolate on view every year from October 12th in Rute.
We are less than 3km from the dramatic and historic white Andalucian town of Iznájar (meaning Happy Castle), and is the most southerly main town of the province of Córdoba, quite literally teetering on top of an immense rock that juts out into the spectacular lake fed in part by snow from the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada.
Booking notes
As some of our guests may need assistance when you book one room a second room is half price!!
Bookings are made on a Bed and Breakfast and afternoon tea basis. Light lunches and a three course meal are available at an extra charge. There is an 'honesty' car in the hotel and there is always free bottled water available. Minimum stay is 3 nights.
A 20% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance can be paid in cash or by credit card when you arrive at the Hotel.
