Notes on accommodation
At Puerto Duquesa the holiday season (and the weather!) lasts much longer than in the UK, however the apartment is priced at rates than mean even in peak season you can have a reasonably priced quality holiday, no profit is made we just cover costs so we can holiday at Mikonos Playa too! There aren't any surcharges just a flat rate and we can recommend discounted car rental as well. October to March (aside of Christmas) is cheapest, £200 per week rising to August at the peak, call or e-mail and we'll give you the details.

Accessibility
The entire property is only a few years old so complies with the latest Spanish laws and is fully accessible inc. lifts.
Outside
The sun terrace is two storeys above ground level and has a south-westerly aspect, it has views of a small part of the marina, some sea views and the surrounding area, it makes a great location for relaxing. The communal swimming pool is located at the same level as the apartment and has large terraced areas with traditional Spanish tiling and mediterranean planting, the pool itself is varied in depth and therefore great for all the family and is also south facing.
Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol is an area in the south of Spain that benefits from exceptionally good Mediterranean weather, with average summer temperatures exceeding 25 degrees and August temperatures regularly exceeding 35 degees. The coastline, full of natural splendour, extends for 161 kilometres and its various beaches range from huge expanses of golden sand to hidden coves with secluded beaches.
Golf
With around 50 courses along the Costa del Sol coastline, the visiting golfer is completely spoilt for choice,with Duquesa golf course on the doorstep if you dont want to travel. Many of the courses are hilly, some requiring a buggy for any but the super fit, however there are also a good number of fairly flat parkland courses. The courses at this end of the Costa del Golf tend to be less crowded and better value than those nearer to Marbella. The area surrounding Duquesa boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe, Valderama, which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup, as well as the American Express Match Play Championships, is only 15 minutes away, other top class Golf Courses include Sotogrande, San Rogue, Real Club du Golf and La Canada. Estepona Golf Club is less than 10 - minutes away and an another 15 minutes away are many further courses including Aloha, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Las Brisas.
Travel
Gibraltar airport is a 30min drive and Malaga an hours drive from Duquesa.
Distances
Whilst staying at No2 Mikonos Playa you can visit the traditional spanish towns and villages of Rhonda, Casares, visit the mountains and deserts of the Sierra Nevada and even drive along to Gibraltar or take a day trip to Morocco. There are many theme parks for the all the family and most visitors see visiting the millionaires play ground of Puerto Banus as a must only 35 minutes away.

The central location also allows easy quick access to Ronda, Gibraltar, Seville and Africa amongst others.

A deposit of 40% is required to reserve the apartment, then a confirmation and receipt(for the 40%) is returned. The full payment is required 1 month before the booked dates.A deposit of £100 is also required as deposit for keys and/or any damages.
