Communal pool. A bright clean duplex which means the property is distributed over 2 floors. Torrox Costa has a bustling long promenade with a vast range of restaurants. Taxi Rank. Bus stop for buses to Nerja, Malaga airport, Torre del Mar to name a few. There are weekly markets and live entertainment. Sea sports. Golf. Horse Riding. Car hire is available and the Tourist Information Office is close to the bus stop and taxi rank. Medical centres are close by most staff speak English. 10 mins to Nerja. 20 mins to nearest Golf course.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible. Arrival and Departure times should be discussed at the time of booking and will depend upon other bookings.

Notes on accommodation
Pets are welcome. The property is located close to bus stop and schools for the children.
The property has a marble wall heater which in addition to double glazing maintains a generous amount of warmth through the property should additional heating be required during a winter stay this can be arranged.
One fan is provided in the lounge should further fans be required they can be provided although since the apartment is in an elevated position with open windows you can enjoy a lovely breeze.
Accessibility
The property is suitable for children but not for persons who have difficulty walking - there is no lift and access to the apartment is via one flight of stairs from the entrance which is entered directly from the car park outside the block.
Outside
The views are across the coast to Nerja to the front and across the coast to Torre del Mar to the right. Also Torrox Village can be seen from the lounge and terrace.
The block is located in a quiet residential cul de sac with the swimming pool to the side and a sun bathing area. The communal pool is of medium size and used by a small percentage of the residents. There are gardens surrounding the property with tropical plants and trees. Access to the property is via a narrow lane from the main road approximately 200m away.
Coast/Beach
Less than 10 mins walk or 2 mins drive along the main road to the beach. A long wide sandy beach with a long promenade. The sea is wonderfully warm between July and September. There are 4 main beaches in Torrox Costa running from Torcasol to Penoncillo.
Golf
I am informed that the new 18 hole golf course at Torrox Costa will be open in 2009. The golf course will be less than 5 mins away from this apartment. Baviera Golf is the next closest about 15 mins away and then Anoreta Golf about 25 mins away at Rincon de La Victoria. Skiing
There is snow skiing of course at Sierra Nevada which is within 2 hours of Torrox Costa. For opening times and prices please contact me and I will send this to you.
Special interest holidays
There are an abundance of courses and trips available. Special Spanish evenings to enjoy some Flamenco Dancing and Paella. Trips to Gibraltar, Malaga site seeing, The Alhambra Palace in Granada, Nerja Caves. Organised walks in the countryside. Painting Courses in Torrox Nerja and Frigiliana. Wine Tasting, visits to the Olive processing factory. Tapas Runs (thoroughly recommended organised Tapas Runs in Nerja). Horse Riding I can arrange accompanied rides in the countryside or to the beach. There are several clubs organising sea fishing, skuba diving, wind-surfing and boat trips, an abundance of activities available, please ask if you are looking to do something in particular and would like me to arrange it for you.
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga 40 mins by car. Regular bus service is provided from Malaga. Please ask for directions to the apartment when booking.

Approximate distances. 2km up the hill to Torrox Village. 6km to Nerja. 8km to Torre del Mar. 12km to Frigiliana.
Further details
There are an abundance of shops and supermarkets providing a selection of English foods. Along the coast road you will find Banks, Medical Centres, Supermarkets, Restaurants, Taxi Rank, Bus Stop, and along the promenade approximately 2km with a selection of restaurants bars and shops.
Booking notes
When making an enquiry about booking if your dates are still available you will be sent a booking form to complete with details of the name address and passport number of each person wishing to stay at the property. The booking form will contain an explanation of the booking conditions relating to deposits and payment of balance.
Guest comments
After a busy day at the beach and sightseeing it was a relief to go back to the quiet apartment relax and enjoy the views before setting off again in the evening. In August it was very busy right on the coast and I am pleased we rented this apartment which was nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the children were able to sleep without interruption. We are 4 French men in our 20's and 30's we stayed at Torrox Costa last year but in a different area, this apartment was great, we were able to lounge by the pool and go back and forth to the apartment without any trouble since it was so close only a few steps away. We did not want to drink and drive, we of course went out every night at Torrox Costa and Nerja and on a few occasions when we went out we caught a taxi back to the apartment which was 5 or 10 euros between us!
