This family frontline corner, four-storey house overlooks the marina with its fishing fleet, and across to Africa and Gibraltar. It has five bedrooms and baths, two large living rooms and three terraces. It was decorated by Kensington Interiors and has featured in Casa Vogue and other mags. Even with ten guests there is enough room for privacy. It has fully-equipped marble bathrooms and kitchen; has BBC satellite TV, CD and cassette players. The beaches and restaurants, shops and cafes are a few minutes walk, and the old centre of Estepona is a 15 minute stroll along the sea paseo. 20 golf courses of all standards are within 20 minutes drive, as is Selwo Safari Park. Puerto Banus is 15 minutes drive; Ronda 90 mins; Sevilla and Granada two hours.
The house is organised for entertaining, with two dining rooms, but also for children, for whom there is a toys cupboard, and a children's play park in the port. A separate self-contained flat of two rooms K&B is also available.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday. Guests can arrive any time after 14.00 hours, and leave by 10.00 - though bags can be left for later collection.

Bedrooms: Three double bedrooms, and two twin beds, all carpeted, and with fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are marbled on floor and walls, and include baths showers, basins and wcs.
Kitchen: The kitchen has cooker, hob, waist-high oven, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, microwave, fridgefreezer, blender, coffee maker, toasters.
Utility Room: This has the hoovers, mops, ironing boards etc.
Living Rooms: Both living rooms are 40ft long, leading on to an open terrace on one floor and covered terrace on other. Both have ample seating for ten, games tables, TV and books.
Other: There is also a separate flat of two rooms K & B for those wanting extra privacy or simply more space.

linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. The house is cleaned and prepared before each visit; extra maid service can be organised.

Notes on accommodation
The windows are double-glazed in a single glass, and so can keep out much of the heat. Every room has large ceiling fans. For winter there are radiators and individual blowers in every room.

Accessibility
Not ideal for anyone with mobility problems as there are steps down to the house and within it.

Outside
The estate has a community pool with loungers and chairs, set in gardens.

Coast/Beach
The Playa del Cristo is only a few minutes stroll away, with two charming chiringuitos, inexpensive parasols etc, and a gently sloping walk into the sea. On the other side of the marina Estepona's main award-winning beach - ten mins walk - encircles the bay, with many chiringuitos and lifeguards.

Golf
There are 20 golf courses within 20 minutes drive of the house, and many more beyond. They range from the international Valderama at Sotogrande to the local Estepona course, easier and much less costly. A new 9-hole golf course has now opened at the back of Estepona.

Skiing
Skiing in winter is two hours away in the Sierra Nevada near Granada.

Travel
Car hire is recommended, if only to get from the airport, as the taxi costs more than the week's hire.

Distances
The fleshpots of Puerto Banus are only 15 mins away, Marbella 25 mins, Gibraltar 40 mins. Back into the sierras are the historic towns of Granada and Sevilla, two hours drive. No car is needed just to enjoy the beaches and facilites of the marina.

Further details
The marina has its own shops, restaurants and cafes; an English doctor holds surgery next door to the house; Estepona has its own food market each day, its large travelling market on Wednesdays, and its clothes and leather market every Sunday in the marina. Banks and chemists are 200 metres away.

Booking notes
50% of the rent is payable on booking and is non-refundable, with the remainder sent six weeks before departure. Keys and detailed information are sent in good time. A £100 deposit is taken against damage, and returned immediately the management team confirm there is none.
