El Paraiso Encontro (Paradise Found) is 2500m2 of lush gardens, orchard, vegetable garden and private pool set in the Fuente Maria valley of Cordoba Province and is central to the principal cities of Andalucia - Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and Seville. Poco Paraiso (Little Paradise) is a modern and spacious 1 bed villa with both private pool and courtyard nestled amidst the mountains of the Subbetica Sierra in the heart of Andalucia. Aimed at the more discerning guests Poco Paraiso is a world away from the hubbub of the coast and perfect for those who wish to appreciate the undiluted taste of "Real Spain". Sun drenched days and starry nights served with superb authentic cuisine and old world charm make this the ideal place to relax and unwind. Situated in the countryside but only 2 min drive/10 min stroll from Priego de Cordoba, a flurishing little town that just invites you to meander through the flower decked cobbled streets affording you a taste of authentic Spanish Culture.

Changeover day is flexible. Every effort will be made to accommodate guests with arrival and departure times.

| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is en-suite, fully tiled with vanity unit, mirror and hairdryer, wc and large walk-in shower. All towels are provided for the duration of your stay. |
| Kitchen: | The modern kitchen provides a breakfast bar, gas range cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron/board and ample utensils, glassware and crockey. Free filtered water is provided. |
| Living Rooms: | The spacious lounge has 2 sofas, coffee table, sat TV/DVD/CD, well stocked library, log burning stove, and soft furnishings. The full windows to the front of the villa afford the courtyard as an extension of the lounge. |
| Other: | Courtyard - Fully enclosed and private the courtyard has sun loungers, BBQ, table and chairs for al-fresco dining and large retractable parasol. |

Notes on accommodation
Smoking is permitted on the property but not inside the villa. The owners live on site and can assist you with any enquiries you may have. However, your privacy will be respected at all times.
Accessibility
The property can be accessed easily from either Malaga or Granada Airports. A new motorway from Malaga to Cordoba has reduced the travel time and you can be at El Paraiso Encontro within 75 mins from Malaga and 50 mins from Granada Airports.
Although the villa is all on one level there is a small step both in and out of the property.
Outside
The gardens are kept as natural as possible with a small vegetable garden to the side of the owners house. The orchard is to the rear of the property and guests should note that they are welcome to help themselves to any seasonal fruit and veg. The 8m x 4m pool and patio area are fully tiled and the pool is cleaned on a daily basis. Guests of Poco Paraiso have sole and exclusive use of the pool from sunrise to sunset. Sun loungers, retractable parasols and seating areas surround the pool.
Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol with its wonderful beaches are a driving time of approx 90 mins however the nearby beach at Iznajar is around 45 mins.
Golf
The nearest golf course is located around Cordoba City.
Travel
Malaga Airport is situated approx 85 miles from the property and Granada Airport approx 50 miles. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the Andalucia countryside.
Distances
Priego de Cordoba is a 2 mins drive and 10 mins walk. Lucena and Alcala La Real are apart from Priego, the two largest towns in the immediate area and can be reached within 20-25 mins. Granada and Cordoba are less than an hour's drive away. It must be noted however that there are many pueblo blanco's (whitewashed villages), historical sites and visitors centres worth visiting in the immediate area.
Further details
Priego de Cordoba is a flourishing town with many traditional and modern shops, banks, restaurants and of course tapas bars. You can see Priego from the villa and it can be reached within 2 mins by car or a 10 mins stroll.

About the owner
Mary and Peter Turner - Originally from Bonnie Scotland we moved to Priego de Cordoba in 2007 having purchased our property in 2006 and have been running El Paraiso Encontro as a holiday destination for 4 very successful seasons. Previously Pete worked permanent night shift and I worked the normal 9 - 5 and it became increasingly difficult to maintain any consistency in our lives. We were indeed the proverbial ships that pass in the night and it was our dream to gain some balance and tranquillity in our lives. Deciding finally on Priego de Cordoba as our adopted home has been the best decision we have ever made and running El Paraiso Encontro has allowed us to showcase some good old Scottish hospitality. You may say Pete and I have taken to it like ducks to water!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We began our search for the perfect Spanish home in 2005 and visited many of the amazing cities and villages within the Andalucian Region. Our requirements were many but after viewing 100's of houses we fell in love with what was a small market garden with house and although requiring work it ticked all our boxes. Situated in the Subettica Sierra El Paraiso Encontro has all the benefits of being in the countryside yet is located 2mins by car and 10mins on foot to the town of Priego with its lively bars, restaurants and amenities. We are located almost central to the major cities of the region i.e. Cordoba, Granada, Antiquera etc. and white washed villages in this area are abundant. Lake Iznajar with it's fantastic beach is 40mins and after a days touring you can return to Paradise.

We specifically accommodate only 2 people here at El Paraiso Encontro. This allows our guests to have sole and exclusive use of the swimming pool, gardens, bbq, orchard, gym etc. We feel this also allows us to platform what real Scottish hospitality is like and enjoy to the full making our guests feel exactly what they are to us, (valued). Guests can also apportion their holiday as they wish i.e. relaxing, touring, private, sociable etc without feeling the need to rush for a sun bed, use of the pool etc. With life so hectic for so many we offer our guests peace, tranquility, privacy, a central base to discover Andalucia and complete exclusivity of El Paraiso Encontro. We are extremely proud of our property here in Spain and welcome everyone looking for a "Spanish Adventure"
