A little valley haven surrounded by the Subbettica Sierra the villa is situated within 2500 sq.m of natural gardens and orchard with fig, pomegranate, walnut and peach trees to name a few. The 8m x 4m pool is surrounded by mountains with spectacular views and is the perfect location to relax with a glass or 2 of your favourite tipple. The location was carefully selected by the owners for its central location and easy access to the Cities of Granada (heart of the old Moorish Kingdom), Cordoba and its Mosquita and Seville. Malaga Airport is just 90 mins and Granada 60 mins. Priego de Cordoba itself has an abundance of cafe bars, shops, churches and fantastic architecture. It is nestled at the foot of the Pico de la Tinosa in the heart of the Subbetica Cordobesa mountain range. It is considered to be the capital of Cordoban Baroque. Hotel 500m from villa.

Bedrooms: The bedroom is again furnished to a superb quality and has 1 double bed, bedside 2 bedside cabinets, large dresser with ample storage and soft furnishings.
Bathrooms: The bathroom is en-suite, fully tiled with vanity unit, mirror and hairdryer, wc and large walk-in shower. All towels are provided for the duration of your stay.
Kitchen: The modern kitchen provides a breakfast bar, gas range cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron/board and ample utensils, glassware and crockey. Free filtered water is provided.
Living Rooms: The spacious lounge has 2 sofas, coffee table, sat TV/DVD/CD, well stocked library, log burning stove, and soft furnishings. The full windows to the front of the villa afford the courtyard as an extension of the lounge.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The villa is cleaned on a weekly basis and all linen/towels are provided free of charge for the duration of your stay.

 

Notes on accommodation
Children are most welcome but must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Smoking is permitted on the property but not inside the villa. Provisions are made for extinguishing cigarettes. We also provide travel cot, highchair and baby walker if required. The owners live on site and can assist you with any enquiries you may have. However, your privacy will be respected at all times.

Accessibility
Although the villa is all on one level there is a small step both in and out of the property.

Outside
The gardens are kept as natural as possible with a small vegetable garden to the side of the owners house. The orchard is to the rear of the property and guests should note that they are welcome to help themselves to any seasonal fruit and veg. The 8x4m pool and patio area are fully tiled and the pool is cleaned on a daily basis. Guests have exclusive use of the pool which is open from sunrise to sunset. Sun loungers, retractable parasols and seating areas surround the pool.

Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol with its wonderful beaches are a driving time of approx 90 mins however the nearby beach at Iznajar is around 45 mins.

Golf
The nearest golf course is located around Cordoba City.

Travel
Malaga Airport is situated approx 85 miles from the property and Granada Airport approx 50 miles. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the Andalucia countryside.

Distances
Priego de Cordoba is a 2 mins drive and 10 mins walk. Lucena and Alcala Real are apart from Priego, the two largest towns in the immediate area and can be reached within 20-25 mins. Granada and Cordoba are less than an hour's drive away. It must be noted however that there are many pueblo blanco's (whitewashed villages), historical sites and visitors centres worth visiting in the immediate area.

Please contact the owner by email to enquire of availability and booking. A 20% deposit is required at time of booking, balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Late bookings must be paid in full.
