The villa is fully equipped with all bedlinen and towels. To save on your luggage weight we have supplied 4 beach towels. The villa will have a full clean before you arrive, however there will be a charge for a clean on departure, paid to the key holder. |
Notes on accommodation
As the villa is ideal for families the following items are available for hire at a small fee (between 5 - 15 euros per week), car seats (all ages), travel cot, hire chair, stroller, playpen, microwave steriliser. Please notify at time of booking. Fee payable to key holder.
There are several children's play areas around the complex, one just a short walk away. The villa is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated for all year use. There is no smoking allowed inside the property although ash trays will be provided for outside use.

Accessibility
The villa is on one level with only one step for access making it ideal for people with walking difficulties. There are steps descending into the pool for easy access.
Outside
As Villa Heurta is situated on one of the largest plots on the complex it has a genuine feeling of spaciousness ideal for playing games on the large lawned garden at the side of the villa. You will find plenty to do ie, swing ball, basket ball etc.
The swimming pool is set in a large terracotta tiled patio and can be lit at night to give a real luxury feel. It measures approximately 6 x 4 metres with a depth from 0.7m to 1.8m and is cleaned on a weekly basis.
At the front of the villa there is ample parking for up to three cars.
Coast/Beach
The famous Mar Menor, a partially enclosed warm sea with sandy (Blue Flag) beaches and water sport facilities 20 mins. Santiago Del Rabina, San Javier has a beautiful beach 20 mins. Los Alcazares, a favourite with families and locals 20 mins. La Manga and the famous La Manga strip 20 mins.
Golf
18 hole championship golf course with fabulous new Clubhouse, restaurant and bars, supermarket, driving range, putting green and resident professional. The desert-links styled golf course was specially designed by Jack Nicklaus and arguably boasts the finest example of this type of course in Europe with lush fairways, superb greens and mildly undulating course around lakes and rock out-croppings. As a guest of El Valle there is a free courtesy bus to the golf courses at Le Torre, Mar Menor and Hacidenda Riquelme known as the Nicklaus Golf Trail. The four courses offer a wealth of exciting and fun golfing challenges suitable for all types of golfers from novice to experienced. Residents can benefit from discounted green fees that can be booked at the clubhouse.
Special interest holidays
Murcia is known as the garden of Spain, the vast majority of the region is farmland. To the north of the region there are two wine growing districts. The local wine is stunning, the reds are really soft and drinkable no need to pay for expensive wine the cheap ones are excellent.

Horse riding/trekking is available at La Manga. It is also a great location for water sports enthusiasts.
Travel
San Javier airport (not to be confused with Murcia inland airport). Flights from the UK average two and a half hours via Monarch, Ryannair, Easyjet, Flybe, BMIBaby etc. Car hire is essential but cheap and easy. It can be booked online and paid for prior to arrival or, alternatively you can pay at the airport on arrival.
El Valle is accessable from the C3319 which is a dual carriage way from the A7 into Murcia. Alicante airport is 40 mins via the AP7.
Distances
The vibrant cosmopolitan yet historical City of Murcia is a 15 minute drive or taxi trip away along the C3319, where you will find beautiful architecture, shops, restaurants, bars and a Casino. If you enjoy your football at their new impressive stadium you can even catch the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona now that Real Murcia have been promoted.
Further details
Dos Mares shopping mall (open on Sunday) is the nearest and approximately 15 mins away at San Pedro Pinatar, you will find a variety of shops, cafes and extensive food hall. Nueva Condomina, a new shopping mall on the outskirts of Murcia features 200 plus shops, with many UK high street chain stores you will be familiar with and is approximately 20 mins away, follow signs for IKEA.
Booking notes
Reservations require a deposit of 25% to secure a booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable security deposit of £250 is also required 6 weeks before arrival. This is refunded after your departure, once the keys have been returned and a satisfactory final inspection of the property has been carried out. A cleaning cost of 85 euro payable locally to the key holder on arrival. Additional mid term cleaning can also be arranged with the key holder.
