2 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment, sleeps 4/6 persons. Hacienda Riquelme is part of the Nicklaus Golf trial, set in the unspoilt countryside of Murcia. The course is an amazing 18 hole, par 72, 6416mtr. Nearby they are building a sports area which will offer tennis courts, gym, volleyball court, all weather pitch and bar (more bar/rest to come), and we expect this to open later in 2008. Just 15 mins to the beautiful town of Murcia and safe sandy beaches. Ideally situated for golfers and non golfers. There are numerous activities, horse riding, mountain climbing and fishing. The Mar Menor is said to be the best place in the world for water sports and of course miles of beaches to explore. The waters of the Mar Menor have been renowned for their benefits to health. As well as the nearby Polaris courses (free transport between courses), you can play the new Seve Ballesteros designed course (La Peraleja)or any of the other fabulous courses including the world famous La Manga.

Prices for the property are per week and in UK Pounds. A 50% discount is available for week two of your holiday.
Long term lets are also available at 500 euros p/m, bills not including. A damage deposit of an equal amount would be required and an end of stay clean of 100 euros will automatically be deducted from this amount.

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning provided in the open plan lounge area and also ceiling fan-lights in the bedrooms.Fully central heated throughout. Underground parking for your vehicle(cool)with lift access through to the apartment. On your arrival you will be met by our friendly key holder whom will guide you through the apartment and answer any questions you may have.

The apartment block contains a lift, providing accessibility for wheelchairs.
Outside
Balcony which overlooks gardens, the golf course and shared/large secure swimming pool (not heated but not required in summer due to very hot temperatures), has 2 sun loungers, table and 6 chairs, BBQ and patio lights.
Coast/Beach
The Marvellous beaches of Mar Menor are only 20 mins drive away which offers warm, clean, shallow waters. Ideal for children.
The famous main attraction is the long strip through the large lagoon-La Manga.Trips are available across for 8 euros return.
Mar Menor is known for its therapeutic mud baths which helps joints and skin conditions.
Golf
The apartment looks over the Hacienda Riquelme golf course, which is a par 72 course designed by Jack Nicholas himself.
All the Polaris World golf courses are within 30 mins radius of each other and provide a free shuttle bus to all. Special offers and rates are provided to all residents throughout all the courses.
Trolleys and golfing equipment are available for hire from the pro shops on site.
Travel
Murcia (San Javier) airport is 15 mins drive to the resort and Alicante airport is 45 mins drive away. Car hire is available from both airports and is recommended.
Distances
The nearest village is the small town of Sucina which offers banks/small cafes/bars/local restaurants/tobacconist/small supermarket.
Murcia city is 30 mins drive which offers good shopping and local history. San Javier is 15 mins drive away and offers a large shopping complex with shops/restaurants which will meet all your needs.
Further details
Hacienda Riquelme is still up and coming.By the end of 2008 it will be able to offer tennis courts, large restaurants, bars and a large supermarket. On site at the moment you have a small supermarket for basic amenities and a pro golf shop and a small bar with snack food.
All the other Polaris Golf courses offer large restaurants and bars which you can get to with the free shuttle bus.
There are several communal pools set around the complex which you can relax and enjoy the sun and views over the golf course.
Nearest water park is the Torrevieja aqupolis which is 30 mins drive away or if you fancy watersports then Mar Menor is where you will find windsurfing, kite boarding, sailing and jet skis all for hire.

Booking notes
We accept cheques, BACS payments and payment by PayPal(4% surcharge applicable if paying by PayPal). We need a £100 security deposit which will be refunded within 10 days of departure after an inventory check. We need a £100 deposit to secure your booking, and the balance is payable in full 4 weeks prior to your holiday. A 70 euro payment is required on arrival or prior to departure for the cleaning of the apartment.
