Spacious and comfortable with all mod cons. This is a great place for a quiet holiday away from the busy tourist areas, yet close enough to the bustling towns of Nerja and Torre del Mar, with their lively nightlife. Or you can take in what the village has to offer, in one of the bars and restaurants in the Plaza Del Constitucion.

Prices include all linen and towels (except beach towels), meet and greet service, gas, electricity and water. The house will be cleaned and beds made before arrival and if you wish for housekeeping during your stay by private arrangement with our agent. |
Notes on accommodation
All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, there are also floor standing fans that can be moved as required. Each room has a heater as it can get a bit chilly at night in the winter. Children should not be left alone on the terraces and care should be taken on the metal spiral staircase and the tiled floors as slippery when wet!
Accessibility
The house has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, only 1 small step into the house. The road is quite wide with access only traffic. The terraces are accessed by a spiral staircase so no good for wheelchairs.
Outside
At the back of the house, up a spiral staircase you will find 2 terraces. The lower terrace has a heated spa pool, a hot 'n' cold outside shower, a large gas barbecue, a fridge. A table and chairs where you can sit in the shade of the fig tree and while away the day, glass in one hand, Jilly Cooper in the other. Upper terrace has tables, chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, this terrace is in full sun from mid-morning 'til sunset. Great views from up here, mountains one way, the sea the other.
Coast/Beach
Torrox Pueblo is just a 5-minute drive from the beautiful, blue flag, sandy beaches of Torrox Costa; a 10-minute drive will take you to Nerja and the famous Balcon de Europa and Burriana beach.
Golf
Baviera Golf Course is just 10 minutes drive west towards Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga. 18 hole, par 72.
Skiing
Skiing is available in The Sierra Nevada mountains, about 90 minutes drive.
Travel
Malaga International Airport is about a 30 minute drive, Granada airport about 90 minutes. If you're coming via Malaga a car is recommended but not essential as taxis are readily available. From Granada a car would be essential.
Distances
Torrox Pueblo is a 5-minute drive from the beaches of Torrox Costa; 10-mins to Nerja. Granada for the magnificent Alhambra Palace (90 mins). Competa and Frigiliana, 2 picturesque Pueblo Blancos (15 mins). Cordoba for the fantastic mosque. Gibraltar- there’s more to Gib than apes. Ronda, a beautiful mountain village with the oldest bull ring in Spain (all about 2 hrs). Seville for the Gothic cathedral (2.5 hours). Or take the bus to Malaga go to the Picasso museum and the Alcazar (35 mins).
Further details
Torrox has a good selection of bars and restaurants serving great tapas, excellent wine, cold beer and the best coffee anywhere! The Plaza is a great place to sit, eat, drink and watch the world go by. Spanish people love a party and the folks in Torrox are no exception; 5 August is the big one, their patron saints feast day - fireworks, music, dancing, it's great, not to be missed. Every Monday a street market is held in the car park, well worth a visit, you can pick up the freshest fruit and veg at bargain prices. Also, in the Plaza there is an indoor municipal market where you can buy fresh fish, vegetables and fresh bread and cakes. In addition there are 2 supermarkets, fishmonger, butcher, baker all only a couple of minutes walk from the house. There are, of course, the usual amenities, banks, hairdresser, doctor, dentist, estate agent, internet cafe.
Booking notes
A booking deposit of 25% is required and full payment is required 6 weeks before your arrival. A booking contract will be sent for you to complete and return. A £100 refundable damage deposit is required and will be refunded approx 10 days after you leave subject to no damage.
