The property is approx 150 metres from the beach with wonderful beach bar/restaurant and same distance from the village of Villaricos. with more good restaurants. The house has recently been upgraded with new bathrooms and air conditioning/heat exchanger and the interior is tastefully furbished. Linen and towels for house use only, are provided. Fully equipped kitchen for simple gourmet meals. Washing machine, Satellite TV, DVD Music system and outdoor furniture including barbecue. Guests have use of a large community pool with adjacent bar and restaurant. The property offers good quality quiet accommodation for golfing enthusiasts, families of all ages, couples and loners just wanting to chill out but have civilised facilities nearby.

Notes on accommodation
The house is part of a small urbanisation of approx 30 houses set in enclosed gardens on the edge of Villaricos. It has three double bedrooms, bathroom cloakroom and a dedicated wet room. The house has been refurbished with new bathrooms, flooring, new bedroom furniture in the master bedroom new bed covers and curtains in all bedrooms. The kitchen was re equipped in 2005. Washing machine installed. Sky TV, DVD player, mini stereo system and a selection of board game are provided for your enjoyment. Air conditioning and a heat exchanger make the house comfortable in all seasons. The house is five minutes walk to the beach and the village . The house enjoys the benefit of a large secure Community owned pool and sunbathing Terrace. Adjacent to the pool is a bar serving drinks, light refreshments, and meals.

Further details
Villaricos (rich village) boasts two small supermarkets a butcher and tobacconist as well as a selection of bars and lovely restaurants. With its Harbour and Marina and in spite of tasteful development it still retains its village feel . The family owned beach bar serves wonderful fish dishes, La Esperanza hotel and restaurant El Mar La Mar are definitely worth trying. A Bank, cashpoint and Pharmacist are in Palamares only 4kms away.
Disowned by Franco for being a hotbed of Communism the area was largely neglected until his death and Spain becoming a member of the EEC. Development is progressing but under strict regulations unlike other parts of Spain. Attractions of the area include: 4 18-hole golf courses including Dessert Springs 5kms away Water leisure park for the kids aged 5 to 105 Fabulous sandy beaches - San Juan de Los Terreros the favourite only 17 kms away Granada and the ski resort approx 2 hours drive The Moorish hilltop village of Mojacar Archeological sites and original caves used for dwellings Cabo de Gata National Park for amazing flora and fauna Night clubs a short drive away. Creamfields Music Festival in August and fiestas everywhere! Enjoy!
