Penthouse apartment with private balcony and off road covered parking; the complex is fully enclosed with security gate/intercom entrance, safe and ideal for families with children. Two-way hot and cold air-conditioning, separate heating for winter evenings, DVD Films, Ipod Dock and some games provided.

Coast/Beach
The blue flag beach of Vera Playa is just 5 mins by car, offering miles of quiet golden sand to relax with the family. A small part of the beach is classed as a naturist area. Many other excellent beaches just a short drive away including Puerto Rey, Garrucha and Mojacar all with lifeguards and beach bars in the summer months. Also the Cabo de Gata National park with many beautiful hidden coves is 45 minutes away by car.
Golf
The apartment is located within a short drive of 4 great golf courses that suit all levels of golfer. It is also very close to a driving range with a putting green and a 2-hole pitch and putt.
Special interest holidays
There are some great scuba diving and snorkeling areas along this coast.
Travel
Almeria Airport 50 mins. Murcia airport 80 mins. Alicante 2 hours. Car hire recommended, to appreciate the area. (not expensive).
Distances
There is a very good bar/restaurant within five minutes walk of the apartment whick is in a lovely setting. Historic town of Vera with lots of shops/restaurants local market and a bull ring 5 mins by car. Mojacar strip with lots of bars and great restaurants 15 mins by car. The busy fishing town of Garrucha with its marina and promenade and lots of fish restaurants 10 mins by car. Vera Aqua Water park - great fun for all the family 2 minutes by car. Supermarket 15 mins walk.
Further details
New shopping centre close by with large supermarket, coffee bars and Wok Buffet Restaurant. Aberdeen Angus Argentinean Steak house 10 mins away highly recommended!

Prices are per week in UK Pounds. £75 non-refundable deposit secures your booking. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure. Short breaks available in winter season, (minimum 3 nights). Airport pick-ups can be arranged. Deposit/Key Loss a deposit of £150 is requested to cover any damage or loss of keys this is refundable on your return subject to no damage/loss being incurred.

About the owner
Hi, we are a family of 4 my husband works for himself alongside my eldest son, I am a nurse and so is my youngest son. We both work with people who have learning disabilities. We hope to spend more time in the apartment when we retire. Mean time we are letting it out to people and hoping they will enjoy it as much as we do. We live in Lancashire and try to get away as often as works allows us to (which is not often enough).

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We have had the apartment since it was built. It is in traditional Spainish area and has a superb climate, it is on a beautiful gated complex. We enjoy it all year round, the pools are great the Spa is open all year, it has a heated pool which is especially useful in the cooler winter months. Our boys enjoy the resort although it is not busy they enjoy the sun and relaxed pace with their friends, it can cater for all ages groups. I must say it does not have wall to wall clubs but there are many nice bars and restaurants locally. The beach nearby is very long, not to busy there are small coves, you can even go the famous naturist area if you are like minded which is well signed (to avoid embrassment) I would recommend car hire but we have a local man who will do airport collections.
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment overlooks one of the pools and is situated so that you get the afternoon and evening sun a great place for barbecues and for keeping an eye on the children playing in the pool whilst you have a drink and relax. If you look to the left of the apartment you also have great views of the mountains which are spectacular. The apartment has everything you need whilst on holiday the kitchen is very well equipped if you like to stay at home to eat you should find everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and the water features and gardens are lovely to walk around everyone is friendly and helpful the is a good mix of nationalities and age groups on the complex.
