Available to rent all year round for you to enjoy the 323 days of sunshine that you get in this part of Spain. Built for enjoyment with terraces on 3 sides for lounging, eating or soaking up the sun. They are also a great vantage point for bird-watching. Comfortably furnished and with a fully equipped modern kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Set on a hillside in the Cortijo Grande, a secluded valley with a 12 hole golf course and riding stables nearby. From the house are views of the of the Sierra Cabrera mountains. In unspoilt natural surroundings. 20 minutes drive from the beach.

Notes on accommodation

You will always be met by a local agent who will explain where to find everything in the villa. There is good mobile reception at the house. The nearest supermarket is in the village of Turre.

Sea kayaking from Las Negras gets you to places inaccessible by road. Beach bars and restaurants can be found all along the coast.

The 4 courses we use are: El Cortijo Grande. Valle De L'Este. Desert Springs and Marina Golf. We can give you telephone numbers so that you can reserve before you leave home.
Special interest holidays
There are stables in Cortijo Grande for recreational horse riding. For bird watchers the province of Almeria is on the migratory route for birds heading North and South.

Further details
The desert of Tabernas is about a 40 minute drive away. Used for filming Westerns in the 1960's and 70's, the sets are now open to the public with Wild West shows and are a great day out.
For the more adventurous there is 4 Wheel Driving and Quad Biking in the desert and riverbeds.
Food - Locally caught fish is landed at Garrucha daily. Delicious lamb is widely available. Argentinian steaks. Fresh salads.
Booking notes
A small deposit usually required. Longer bookings are welcomed over the winter months for clients wishing to miss the British winter.
