A great holiday starts with great accommodation (and fantastic weather!). This boutique apartment stands out because it has been furnished and decorated to such a high standard and offers luxury accommodation for up to 6 people (two on sofa-bed). The bedrooms can be configured to either provide twin singles in each room, or super king doubles. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and there is plenty of storage (for golf clubs/suitcases etc). Fully airconditioned including both bedrooms (a must). The apartment is fully equipped for a great holiday, with electronics including an ipod docking station, satellite TV and a 32 inch plasma screen, DVD player and internet access. The terrace is luxuriously furnished with sofa, small table, two armchairs, and glass topped dining table and chairs.

Discount available for longer lets.NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. A £75 deposit is payable at time of booking. Balance is due six weeks prior to departure. A refundable security deposit of 300Euros is payable locally. That sum will be refunded within two weeks of your return subject to a satisfactory property inspection.

Notes on accommodation

There is a full set of mens right handed golf clubs for you to use which saves cost of hiring and transportaion of your own. Sunbeds are also provided for you to take to the beach or pool.

Outside
There is a large shared swimming pool outside the apartment block. There's also a driving range, small supermarket and a very friendly bar/restaurant They're building tennis courts, a volleyball court and a gym, but it's unlikely to be ready until later in 2008.
Coast/Beach
There's lots of choices of what to do in the Costa Calida - and even a choice of which Sea to go to! You can choose between the Mediterranean Sea, and the lesser known Mar Menor (little sea). The Med beaches include some fabulous white sand walks that the locals favour, while the Mar Menor is an inland sea/salt water lake separated from the Mediterranean by La Manga (the sleeve) del Mar Menor; otherwise known as the La Manga strip.
Golf
The feature of the development is the Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course. Hacienda Riquelme is the fourth Polaris golf resort to be completed in the Costa Calida area. It's part of the Nicklaus golf trail and guests can get discounted green fees. There are currently golf deals promoting the Hacienda course, including a two for one offer between mid-day and 5pm or 30 euros per round for a twilight round after 5pm. There are other discounts available for buggies, club-hire etc and you can also try your hand at other Polaris golf resorts nearby.
Travel
Fly to Murcia/San Javier International Airport from Belfast, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London - Gatwick, London - Luton, London - Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham/East Midlands Nottingham / East Midlands and Southampton. Airlines flying there include Ryanair, Jet2, Easyjet and Monarch. Car hire can be done at the airport, but it's better to pre-book and try to do that with companies that have the cars at the airport.

Further details
Hacienda Riquelme 2008 is already a happy holiday destination, but it's not yet fully complete. So you have a centre with many of the facilities already in place (such as the fabulous swimming pools, the children's play areas, the hugely impressive golf course, clubhouse bar and mini-supermarket) but with pleasantly few people there to use them. You also have access to the full facilities on nearby Polaris resorts like La Torre, which is about 15 minutes away. There are regular shuttle buses between Hacienda and the other Polaris resorts. Although you can have a lovely holiday on-site at Hacienda, we'd recommend getting a little adventurous and making the short drive to the wonderful beaches and resorts. Sports facilities at Hacienda are a little way off being finished - we'll update the site when the tennis, fitness centre, volleyball, basketball courts etc are finished.
